Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Almare! Perfekte Lage direkt am Meer, ein schönes sauberes Zimmer mit Meeresrauschen und super freundlichen Mitarbeitern! Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub, wir kommen definitiv wieder! :-)

Sauberes Zimmer, direkter Zugang zum Meer, sehr leckeres Essen, Buffet mit täglich wechselnden ausgewogenen Speisen, freundliches Personal, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt vor Ort, Anflug zum Flughafen ist über dem Hotel was nicht störend ist.

For our first trip to Greece, we chose Crete. Our agency booked us two rooms at the Almare Beach Hotel in Kokkini Hani. We were delighted with it. We chose rooms on the ground floor because for our 15 year old daughter, we could not choose a room upstairs with a sea view. But all 3 of us appreciated the comfort of our respective rooms. Our daughter had room number 1 and we had room number 2. No. 2 is more spacious. Normal that they give 1 to a single person. For the reception, meals and the swimming pool you have to go to Sunset Beach which is around fifty meters away. You can either go by the road or by the beach side. But that didn't pose a problem for us. I found it very appreciable to have been placed at Almare rather than at Sunset. I think we benefited from more calm and privacy on this side. The beach is really close. The staff are just great. Very friendly and efficient. We were mainly served by Soula and Onisimo. Thank you for everything... The other people are all very nice. I recommend this place without any worries.

Lovely hotel! Beautiful views of the sea, clean, comfortable. 3 minute walk to Sunset Beach Hotel where a wonderful breakfast was provided and pool with stunning sea views. Fantastic value for money, looking forward to staying here again.

We had booked at L Almare Beach Hotel and when we arrived we were told that there was a problem without giving us details, so we were put up at the Sunset Beach Hotel. The room we were given was large since it was designed for 4 people, but the furniture was very dated, only 1 pillow per person and when we asked for a blanket, since there was none, we were given it reluctantly. As for breakfast, it looked more like a canteen. On the other hand, it is impossible to swim in the sea via the access provided because there is no beach and large rocks.

The small Hotel Almare is a family-run hotel. Very cozy. Breakfast and dinner are taken in the neighboring Hotel Sunset Beach. But that's not a problem. The food is plentiful and very tasty. The rooms are very cozy and very clean. The staff speaks German and is very friendly. We will come again.
