The hotel is great. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Male by speedboat! The receptionist, ********* Xiao Yang, made all the arrangements. I give a big thumbs up to the little girl!

The room is more than enough for two people, especially the bathroom, which is very bright and spacious, with a reasonable layout so you can take a shower and soak up the sunshine. Open the terrace door and sit on the sofa in the room to see the beautiful sea view. You can snorkel by going down the steps from the terrace. The water is clear. There is a piece of coral under Room 136. There are colorful fish in it. It is also common to encounter sharks. The Maldivian people are kind and friendly, and are very service-minded. The best experience is that they use their actions to encourage everyone to explore the unknown world of the sea. In particular, our butler Fathih arranged our activities clearly. Every activity is clearly priced. Although water activities are expensive, they are definitely worth it! The best thing is that you can explore another island while staying here.

Our stay at Anantara Veli was wonderful and will be a memorable holiday for life. Everything you could think of, including room, service, food, excursions/activities and spa etc. was spectacular. On reflection, what stood out the most to us, was the wonderful team. Our host, Yasir, was kind and attentive, and deeply invested in making this holiday as special as can be, as was also true for every one of the staff members we met. Finally, a special thanks to the Aquafanatics water sports team. We thoroughly loved our excursions, which included the nurse shark snorkeling, scuba diving (special shout-out to the instructor Mostafa) and in particular, the whale shark snorkeling day trip, where the team left us with one of the most memorable days of our lives. After a busy working life this is a great way to relax and unwind, staff are excellent in every way, will be back next year. Facilities are second to none, and food choices are excellent. You are spoilt for choices.Special mention to the staff at the spa very professional
