Absolutely amazing place I came to visit with my family and everything was spot on! The waitress was an absolute pleasure to deal with and very kind and helpful. The food tasted great with a great variety of food options. I choose to have all inclusive and I do recommend it! Almuñécar is also a beautiful tranquil place, far from the buzz of Málaga but still has a lot of life. The room was spotless with a lot of cleaning and great mattresses. I really recommend this hotel for families and couples or a fool trip too. Please note the SPA and jacuzzi have different pricing not included, you can contact the hotel to reserve and pay upfront by phone or bank transfer. SPA 15€ per person, 1 hour session. Jacuzzi+ solarium 10€ per person, access for all day.

Beautiful hotel ,situated more or less on the water, the rooms and the hotel overall is spotlessly clean & modern, the pool area is great, plenty of beds & the buffet restaurant has plenty to choose from, the only down side is that English is not widely understood but I suppose we are in Spain so that’s on me

Kitchen is bad regarding dinner buffet. Not acceptable quality. Dry slices of various meat and pieces of fish soaked in some different liquid. The climate control in the room always produce central controled season temperature independent of room adjustment. Total experience with kitchen is bad. Most thing during our stay was closed down. Upgrade of room locally was not possible at our specs. Very unecpected quality of our 12 day stay. The only possible thing is service and quality of the bar and the bar personell at reception level.

A great hotel with excellent facilities. Spotless and clean with terrific staff who are friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and serviced every day, including fresh towels if desired. The beds were comfy and helped in getting a great nights sleep - A must when on holiday! The food is varied, local dishes and the evening show cooking offers a terrific chance to sample great freshly prepared food. The only criticisisim is breakfast would benefit by being kept slightly warmer. The pool is excellent - Decent deep end to allow the kids to dive/jump and the system of booking a sunbed is a great idea - No sunbed wars during the entire stay. A wonderful find in a quiet spot on the coast that is recommended and a place I look forward to visiting again.

Stayed 6 weeks.Roomy and family friendly rooms with double bed and a sofa and refrigerator. Big bathrooms. A big plus is that they tend to give pool level rooms to families with children. So easy to get in and out of the pool. The outside space was also roomy and with 2 sunshairs and big parasoll! Staff was friendly and keen to meet your needs or questions. The only negative part was: we put the don't disturb sign every night but every morning they would still open the door and come in, even if they saw us in bed half naked feeding the baby they walked in and started to mess in the wardrobe or other things. Screaming "NOO" to their knocks ment nothing. Starting to think the maids were paid by each room and not by schedule, why else the urge to force into rooms they cleaned just the other day? Last thing is the buffet....... Every source of proteine is abused to the limit that you can't tell if it's fish, chicken, pork, beef, other. No pepper, no spices, lots of deep fry. Could not get allergens right at all. Put Gluten on cooked potatoes and No Gluten on gluten pasta and "Pure rice" on shrimp rice. Last weeks I actually vomitided a little in a napkin each time we tried to eat there. So we went to restaurants outside. I think something has happened because only 1 year ago they had healthy and good food according to people in the area. We loved this hotel! We only stayed for 4 nights and wished we could have stayed for longer. We opted for a Junior Suite as we are a family of 4 and wanted a bit more space. The suite was massive and was ideal for us. It had a generously sized balcony with a lovely view. Fantastic pool, great location right by the beach, helpful staff, very clean and great facilities. We were the only non-Spanish guests which was fine by us. I’m not fluent at all, but I speak enough Spanish to get by. Rest assured, the staff do speak English. But as this is a town in Spain, you should address people in their own language and not demand that they speak a foreign language. It’s just courtesy, and you will find that people are very kind and will encourage you to use and improve your Spanish! We were room only, so we can’t comment on the food. The hotel is a bit far from the town centre, but there is a bus stop around the corner and the bus is only €1. There’s also a supermarket a one minute walk away. We really liked Almuñécar as it has such an interesting history and there are loads of chiringuitos to choose from for leisurely lunches and dinners. Yes it was hot, but not as hot as the interior. Would go back tomorrow if we could!

We had a lovely, peaceful stay during the off-peak season. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and right on the beach with a few local shops nearby. I had emailed ahead to arrange a surprise upgrade for my mum’s 60th birthday, and the hotel kindly made it happen—it really made the trip special. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The food wasn’t quite to my taste, but it wasn’t bad either. Overall, a great experience and I’d definitely recommend it for a relaxing break.
