Hotel Kumararraja Palace

Went this weekend with family members. 10 people including elders. Took 2 suites and 2 rooms. Suitable for families. Good food, quick room service, cost effective. Safe environment. Mr Easwar in the front desk addressed our requests during the 2 days stay. Overall it was a comfortable stay.

Very disappointing experience. It is not Palace kind of accommodation. It is typical lodge location away from yelagiri centre. No good roads to reach this hotel. Broken inside the Rural village is the only road to reach this hotel. Also, Rooms are very old. Doors are rust & bathroom paints are wornout. Room has whiskey smell. Bedsheet & pillow has ***y hairs. Not worth for Rs.3800 per day that too without AC rooms. TV is not working. Cables are hanging. Electrition could not able to repair. Complementary breakfast is not that good taste. No alacarte Dinner in restaurant. Only buffet. That also not tasty. Swimming pool was very dusty & dull. Reception person not attending calls between 8 pm to 8 am as they left home for the day

I stayed there for one day with my family, Room is full of cigarette smell.. couldn't able to tolerate at all.. frequent power cuts, no WIFI, room tv didnt worked.. got to stay in a small room with cigarette smell with the package of 4,000 rupees (Non-AC). Only Hotel to ask to pay all the balance before you check-in the room. Food is good but rest all were waste.. Bachelours might enjoy since they allow alcohol and cigarettes in the room.. but must avoid for family.. Deeply regret my choice... my Money was wasted and my vacation mood was spoiled

We visited last week with family of 4 and had a wonderful holiday at kumarraja resort. I should really appreciate front office team for so polite and friendly behaviour. They offered well appointed room with clean and well maintained amenities. Food was ok. Swimming pool and play area well maintained. Surely will visit again.

We had a wonderful time as a family at the place. Everything was excellent, the staff, the food, and rooms were really neat & clean worth staying, very nice place to stay in Yelagiri. The ground floor restaurant serves tasty breakfast, lunch and Dinner and has good car parking, a neatly maintained children's park, swimming pool. Certainly, recommend this hotel.

Rooms are below standard room doesn’t have Wi-Fi intercom not working toilet health facet not working cockroaches everywhere unresponsive staff even if we complain multiple times pathetic The swimming pool is not usable and AC not working

My friends and I have stayed at Kumararaja Palace numerous times in past years. However, this current visit I'd dare say is the worst of the lot. Everything has to paid online. It's easy to understand that booking maybe required online but to insist on paying even for a single coffee online is totally unreasonable. Surely an hospitality organisation need to have multiple platforms of payment. BTW I believe they are breaking the law when during an emergency they refusing to accept legally tender indian rupees. Not everyone could have the capacity to pay online even though a notice has been placed at the reception. And at their restaurant, whatever orders are made have to be executed online. And ***agement de***ds payment by nightfall online. And so we received a call at 10.30 pm to settle payment for the same day. This is obviously taking online payment to ridiculous heights. No Thanks Kumararaja. Never Again. Their in-house services has fallen through the gully: We booked for three and an additional foldable mattress and bed was organised. But no additional towel, soap or toilet rolls was provided. They had to be called for. And there was no hot water. Even that was a dribble and absolutely luke warm. We who are all established professionals will never again go back to Kumararaja Palace. If you do, then be forwarned that you are going to throw Rs 6,600 per day into a hole and not see sunlight or moonlight. Angeraswan Who stayed at Kumararaja Palace between 29 to 30 October 2022

Pros- Spacious hotel Tasty food whether south Indian or north Indian They will arrange campfire Polite staff Safe & secure for family. Children playing area. Ample space for parking. Considering the limited hotels this hotel is one of the best. I have suggested this hotel to my colleagues & family friends. They also visited and were impressed. Cons- No such

i stayed during 14th Oct 2021 to 16th oct. this is the 2nd time i am staying here. the 1st stay 2 years back was pleasant and enjoyed the stay but not this time. 1. unruly behavior of a big local crowd on the pool which was very unpleasant. If the property is under surveillance, not sure why these were not monitored. I wouldn't recommend this resort for stay with families. 2. breakfast spread is only southindian and even if you go by 9.30AM, the food items will be cold. taste was okay. same menu for both the days, except for change of pongal and upma 3. Dinner Ala carte was ok. no complaints 4. coffee and tea tasted yuck. 5. so called live counters in the evening snacks are the same menu smileys, fries and garlic roles. there is no other alternate snacks like sandwiches. there is no room service for the so called live snacks counter.very unfair 6. there were events conducted in the evening which were not that professional events. both the days same events were repeated 7. Bathrooms could have been neater 8. the indoor play area is always closed whenever we asked. overall the stay was not good
