We were looking for a hotel room for a couple of nights in Vence , and the towns’ tourist office found the Mas de Vence for us . This family run hotel was very welcoming , the bedroom with balcony was clean , and although it overlooked part of the road into the town , the sound of traffic was never a problem for us . There is a path /little road right next to the hotel which leads upwards into the town centre . The hotel breakfast was basic , the dinner was same but home made . Delicious desserts. There is a pool but it was closed as too early in the spring season . The bus stop toward St Paul de Vence is just across the road . We enjoyed our stay very much .

Séjour agréable suite à l'accueil très sympathique suite au retard du bateau revenant de Corse. Cadre très attachant et bon confort. Dommage du bruit de l'air conditionné. Excellente terrasse près d'une belle piscine. Personnel très attentif aux clients.

Abbiamo dormito qui solo per una notte e devo dire che per un soggiorno breve l'hotel va benissimo, perché permette di arrivare e and****ne velocemente, visto che dispone di un parcheggio privato interno ed è sulla strada principale per Nizza. La posizione è buona anche per salire a piedi verso il centro storico, con una camminata che consente di immergersi piano piano nel clima della cittadina, ma di poter poi dormire la notte senza essere disturbati dalla folla di turisti che assediano Vence in estate. Non abbiamo avuto il tempo per goderci la piscina e non abbiamo provato il ristorante (forse avremmo fatto meglio, visto la sfinente ricerca in un affollatissimo "sabato del villaggio" in centro storico), quindi la nostra valutazione è solo per la camera, che si è rivelata spaziosa e comoda, con armadio e aria condizionata a disposizione, un bagno grande e pulito, un piccolo terrazzo da cui vedere il tramonto sulle colline (o l'alba, se si è mattinieri). Certo, l'albergo è un po' ...agé, avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata, dà l'impressione di aver avuto giorni migliori e non ha molto fascino, ma è senz'altro funzionale e poi il proprietario è persona estremamente gentile e disponibile, ci ha dato buoni suggerimenti e informazioni. E parla bene l'italiano!

Chambre fonctionnelle, assez grande pour se bouger un peu. Draps et murs un peu démodés.
Il devrait y avoir plus d'option au petit-déjeuner auquel je n'ai pas beaucoup mangé car il n'y avait pas d'option salée.

Très bon accueil, propreté impeccable, linge de toilette en bonne quantité, piscine en pente de 1,10 m à plus de 2 m idéale pour nage, mouvements d'aquagym et simple bien-être.
Petite ruelle très pentue, très commode pour accéder à pied au centre ville et raccourci possible par le jardin en restanques en journée. L'hôtel donne sur l'avenue montant vers Vence d'où on entend le bruit des voitures mais pas dérangeant dans la chambre.
J'y reviendrai !
