Best Hotels in Vendome, France

Stayed one night only. Enjoyed the nice service from staff. The hotel is nicely located in Vendôme with necessary things nearby. The suggestion I have concern room lighting, which needs improvement and switches to control the overhead lights from the bed. Secondly, the hotel uses the system of inserting your room card in a slot near the room entrance in order to have electricity in the room. Unfortunately, the slot needs to be illuminated in some way so you can see it without lights! Lastly, the shower set up is complicated. Personally, I prefer a hot spigot, a cold and a shower head, period! They have some complex system with two heads, a body wash system and numerous valves! Also, the floor of the shower is part of the bathroom, so water runs out of the shower to the rest of the bathroom.

Breakfast is more expensive than domestic, and it is very affordable in the local area. The room is small but simple and comfortable.

Pretty standard for an overnight work stay, did the job, lucky I had brought food with me as Buffalo Grill seemed to be the only option
