Clean room and friendly staff

It was very loud during the night. I was not able to sleep.

This hotel was so disappointing the minute we walked in the lobby Your night guy at the service desk couldn't break a smile if you paid him. And of course wasn't happy that he had to put his phone away and get up off the couch to help us. Had no answer as to why one of my daughter's rooms was not listed SO she had to pay for another one just to get in and relax. His answer "You'll have to take this up with a manager in the morning. I don't know" In other words "Fend for yourselves folks"!!! Upon entering the room she notice the sheet were dirty so they moved her to another room where the air conditioner didn't work so the moved the AGAIN! Still HAD paid for 5rooms when I reserved 4 which was ALL I needed. I would have left in the first 5 minutes if I wasn't about to lose my money which would have amounted to approx. $2,900 /we will never ever stay at this lace again and my travel agent was the first to know＞ NOW I have to write letters to your executive people to get my money returned for the the 5th room that went UNUSED!!!!!

We had a great experience with this hotel. The gentleman, Cleveland, was extremely pleasant, helpful, and went above and beyond.

Unfortunately there were children running and screaming up and down the hallway during the night. We called the front desk and someone came and told the parents to have them stop, but as soon as that person left, they started all over again. Not a good night’s sleep! The breakfast buffet was wonderful! The lady in charge was very attentive to refilling the buffet and the cleanliness of the area. The check in staff was very friendly.

Clean rooms and super friendly staff! Delicious breakfast up to par with other Holiday Inns. We appreciate the dependability of this hotel chain.

We booked two nights for Christmas 2023 and management blocked out a room with two queen beds and an accessible tub. Upon arrival we learned that our room had been painted and was not available. They did not have another room with two queens and an accessible tub. They also did not notify us before arrival so that we could possibly make other arrangements. We ended up in a room with two queen beds and a roll-in shower. The roll-in shower has no shower chair. The sink has no level surface, and there is no side table to put your stuff while getting ready. The door swings inward so far that it is very difficult to enter/exit and open/close the door. The queen beds take up most of the room in the sleeping area and there is not enough room to maneuver a wheelchair. There is a tall closet for hanging clothes but the doors swing outward so a wheelchair user is not able to open it. The rod to hang clothes is too high to reach. There are no drawers for storage anywhere in the room. Not related to ADA, the shades would not close all the way so there was about 2-3 feet of open window that was not covered. The mattress was not comfortable. The room does not have enough lighting and is too dark. Cosmetically, the hotel is older and has a lot of scratches and dents. It needs a lot more than a coat of paint. We have stayed in a lot of Holiday Inn’s and Express’s, and this was by far the worst. After notifying management, they credited a whopping $50 for our inconvenience. On the plus side, the food was good (they even had sausage gravy for the biscuits) and the staff was very friendly.

Easy check in and friendly staff. Rooms are very clean. Excellent free breakfast in the morning, I just feel it should start earlier then 7am for us early risers. Convenient to beaches and downtown Venice. I would stay here again.
