This place states online that it’s updated and the cleanest in Venice. When we walked into the room, we were overwhelmed with how poor the condition was. No electricals worked. My husband got the manager and he pulled the table away from the wall and flipped the switch on the power *****. I asked to be moved to another room, there was another building that looked newer. First, the manager said there was no availability, then he said he would check. He came back with a key to one of these rooms. It wasn’t much better. It seemed to have new roll vinyl on the floor and the bathroom had been updated with a new shower, sink, toilet and faucets. The room was still truly dreadful. The bed was awful and the pillows were hard as rocks. The bedding was all polyester, the room smelled of mildew. There was only one floor lamp. The furniture looked like it came from Goodwill. The photos on the hotel’s website tell an entirely different story and in my opinion they are guilty of bait and switch. I would rather sleep in my car than in one of these rooms.

Property was older and in need of updating. Room heater was marginal and difficult to adjust. Electrical system was dated and needed to be redone. Room was clean and the clerk at check in was helpful. Good reasonable place to stay for a short time.

Property is being renovated and our room was OK, however most of the property looks like people live there. Linens are in need of replacement, however, the bed was very comfortable and the furnishings of the room were newish. It's obvious the family running it is trying very hard and I wish them the best. We had stayed at a sister property a couple years ago (which was also under renovation) but was definitely better kept. They were very friendly and I wish I could give them a better review but would really have appreciated a more informative review before we booked the room.

Service was great! My room had an odd smell, and the bed was old and not the most comfortable I have slept on, but it was OK. I will be back again.
