The advantage is that the location is right in front of Venice Beach, so you can feel happy while looking at the sea view from inside the accommodation. Since it is a tourist attraction, you may be worried about security, but you can enter the gate without worrying about security by swiping your card, and there is a staff member right in front of you. The facilities were very clean and didn't have that typical American hotel smell, and there were also details here and there. For example, the part where you can finely adjust the brightness of the lights. Also, the windows were well soundproofed, so when the door was closed, you couldn't hear much sound outside.
The downside is that the soundproofing in the hotel is a bit lacking. You can rent amenities (beach towels, bicycles, etc.), but you have to pay this price: $27. I wish it had been stated in advance on Trip.com.

Loved this hotel ! Great location, helpful and friendly staff. We loved our room we were in PH5 large rooftop room, stunning sunsets. Next time I would make sure I got a room that was beach front not at the back. The bikes at the hotel that we could use for free to cruise up with Santa Monica were a great bonus. Plenty of things to do and dining options. We walked to the restaurant Great White upon recommendation from a local and it was seriously good, clean food. Something we'd be craving.

Venice V offered a great home base while visiting the LA-area. The service from the staff at this hotel was great. Everyone from the parking to the front desk was friendly and helpful. The hotel has done a great job at incorporating the artsy feel of Venice into its rooms.

Our experiences Venice V was amazing. Gabriel at the front desk was SUPER friendly and the hotel was clean, welcoming and had such fun decor. Very, well located, steps to the Venice boardwalk. Didn’t have a single problem or complaint. The room was SO FREAKING COOL.

Love, love, love this hotel. Now on my best-ever list. The service, location, the room, everything was fantastic. I could live in the oceanfront penthouse. All staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and everything in Venice Beach is right out the door but it never got noisy in the room. And the views - I was surrounded by stunning views! How is this only a 3-star hotel?

A find. Amazing Indy hotel actually on the beach in Venice. Completely cool. Great beds. Industrial chic. No restaurant but it’s Venice Beach. Take a walk. Extraordinary.

Great location, central to everything beach plus the Venice canals and area. Great penthouse rooms have a rooftop view and are very spacious. We had the Marrakesh suite. Service was excellent and the hotel staff put safety first. Great stay!

The beds were wonderful. The location was great to walk the boardwalk. We enjoyed talking the free bikes out and traveled much further than we could have on foot. We would stay again.
