The room was medium-sized and the price/performance ratio was pretty good. The hotel was very nice and allowed me to check in in advance.

I was biased having read some negative reviews. Having to stay with a group of 50 people heading to the Venice Carnival, I contacted the hotel and was able to speak with Mrs. Caterina, a very kind person and attentive to meeting the various requests of the group. The hotel looks good, it is part of the Momdial hotel, located in front. Even though the rooms were all occupied, they allowed us to leave our luggage from early in the morning so we could get to Venice straight away as the Marghera Mestre train station is located in the same building a stone's throw from the hotel. We were able to stay in Venice until late in the evening as we were able to have dinner in an excellent partner restaurant. After dinner, we returned to the hotel in 10 minutes by train and went to the rooms, small but comfortable with comfortable beds, clean and new linen. They are equipped with hot/cold air conditioning, TV, en-suite bathroom and safe. And even too heated. For 2 or 3 days they are fine, also considering the excellent quality/price ratio. Breakfast, consumed in the elegant room of the Mondial was of excellent quality, abundant, salty and sweet with freshly baked donuts, small croissants, juices, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. Fast, attentive, helpful staff, (they even made me a cappuccino with soy milk. These are not standard rooms, unless the gray soap is a set of cosmetics and the view of the adjacent windows is a view of the city. Reception unpleasant. Hotel across the street. Terribly loud. It's impossible to sleep. I will never come here again.

I did a little research about this hotel before the Italy tour started. But when I saw it firsthand, I understood that it could be this bad. After the hotels we stayed in before Venice, this hotel was frankly disappointing. First of all, the rooms are very small and the cleaning is bad. Not to mention the lack of maintenance. There is no wardrobe or bedside table with drawers in the room. There is nothing to put your clothes and belongings. Maybe that's why they put two luggage stands. There was a small table-like thing that was also shaking. They mounted the safe box on the wall of the room. It made me laugh so much. Thank God the beds were clean. There was a thin thing that looked like a pillow. The bathroom was neglected and bad. The only positive thing was the temperature of the water. The shower cabin was beyond miniature. Breakfast was a complete fiasco. A restaurant attendant, like a Gestapo officer, constantly argued with us. From now on, I will not buy tours without knowing the hotel where I will stay. Because hotels are reported to be very close to departure after purchasing the tour.

If for work reasons you find yourself sleeping in Venice Mestre... escape from this hotel, where the bed is broken, the power sockets do not work, every part of the hotel is smelly, dirty, ruined, where you will not find a bidet, with a shower with a broken cable, where breakfast is not included... And the best part is that it claims to be a three-star hotel!!! But shame on you!
