Amazing location, almost straight onto a nice Campo (square) in the heart of Venice. So easy to get to St Mark's and the water front or to the Grand Canal. Lovely building and style. Its a small 3* hotel, so don't expect 5*, but for the money and knowing it is a small hotel, we thought it was great. Breakfast is good enough and no complaints here. Noise is mentioned in other reviews and yes sound proofing is poor, but its an old building and therefore not to the same standards in that regard as you will find in a modern purpose built box. I suppose much depends on your fellow guests! We were lucky maybe. If you want value for money, great location and a nice decor then consider this.

Very dated and over priced. Our room smelled sewer. Noisy building. You can hear everything. Wondered if guest in room above us played bowling lol. Old wooden floors are charming but not if you don’t know how to walk on them late night ;). Reception was closed on arrival and departure. Odd opening times. Breakfast very average. Location is maybe the great thing about it. And the lovely square outside for dinner and more. Would not come back. But did the job. Clearly the worst hotel of our trip out of 6 places. We did not have a blanket and just a thin bedlinen. Air con loud. So was the fridge that we deactivated as we didn’t have anything in it. Bed was actually comfortable on the hard side. Clean room overall apart from the smell.

This hotel in Venice was a perfect choice for our getaway! It was located just a stone's throw from the Vaporetto station, in a quiet, close to a beautiful square filled with amazing restaurants. Our room was well-appointed with a comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, and a desk. The bathroom was fully stocked with all the essentials we needed for a comfortable stay. They provided daily room service. Even though our flight was delayed, the check-in was seamless which helped reduce our stress after a very long and hectic journey to Venice. The friendly front desk staff is available till 2 pm. The hotel provided complimentary breakfast and water dispenser.

A positive experience. The property was tastefully furnished, comfortable, welcoming, managed with courtesy and kindness, spotlessly clean, and located a short distance from San Marco and two piers. We were satisfied. We recommend it.

I stayed in this charming little hotel with my husband, son, and my 12-kilo dog (without charging a supplement for the latter). I highly recommend it! If you book ahead, you'll also find excellent prices for Venice and for being right in the center, just a 15-minute walk from San Marco. Clean, with attention to detail to ensure guests have everything they need, you feel a little like the host takes care of everything to make you feel at home. Breakfast is complete, with a good selection of sweet and savory options. If you arrive after 2:00 PM, they'll open the door remotely and leave the keys at reception, especially if you book online and have already submitted your documents. The bed is super comfortable! Thank you for your hospitality, and if we return to Venice, as I hope, we'll choose Locanda Art Deco.

Location centralissima e comoda per visitare il cuore di Venezia. Camera molto pulita, calda e accogliente, letti davvero comodissimi. Abbiamo dormito davvero bene (e non è cosa scontata!). Buona colazione sia dolce, sia salata. Check-out alle h. 11 con possibilità di lasciare i bagagli in struttura senza alcun supplemento. La signora ci ha consigliato dei locali con cena tipica veneziana a buoni prezzi: scelta perfetta! Sicuramente quando torneremo a Venezia sarà la nostra “base”. Grazie per questo bel week-end!

Situato a pochi minuti a piedi dalla fermata sant'Angelo del vaporetto, si può anche raggiungere a piedi da piazzale Roma con una breve camminata di 20.minuti. La struttura è in una piccola calle che si apre sul campo Santo Stefano, una bella piazza con ristoranti,bar per cicchetti e una buona gelateria. La locanda è molto semplice e carina, arredata con mobili art deco e bellissimi pavimenti in mosaico veneziano che sembrano tappeti. Le camere non sono molto grandi ma sono molto confortevoli: piacevole sorpresa trovare nel letto un morbido topper e lenzuola di buona qualità per cui abbiamo dormito benissimo. In camera abbiamo trovato anche un bollitore nuovo, té, camomilla, tisana al finocchio, biscottini secchi e baci di dama. Molto gradevole la colazione e molto gentile la titolare che per venire incontro alla mia allergia ai latticini mi ha fatto trovare latte di mandorla, biscotti e merendine senza latte o burro. Ci siamo trovati benissimo e torneremo sicuramente.
