The location is undeniably good, just a breeze from the termini. Just be mindful of guys approaching you to help with the luggage at the termini, they kept insisting they’re station staff etc and it didn’t feel safe. Room is good on the whole but I would like to comment about the reception, it was below expectations for all our encounters at the reception, with 2 notable occasions to call out: 1) There was a queue (of 3-4 groups) when we arrived to leave our luggage however the staff was not bothered to open a new counter although we saw 3 ladies walking up and down the reception. It took us like 15-20 mins to leave our luggage, after a second counter was set up. 2) There was just one group ahead of us when we wanted to collect our luggage. They were talking about the room slippers for ~20 mins. The receptionist could have paused their conversation to attend to us over a small matter (room slippers).

Location is great! It is only about 5 mins walk from train station. Room is a bit old and is not well maintained. I did not feel welcome from the front desk when we checked in.

The hotel is located extremely near to Venice Centrale station and the ferry stops. There a lot of breakfast around so no need to get the hotel breakfast. It is wise to book hotel next to the train station as the Venice pavement is uneven. Quite hard for you to drag your luggage or even take the river boat when is fully crowded.

The room felt quite small for the price, and the amenities were underwhelming. However, the two large, fully openable windows were a nice touch. There was no complimentary drinking water, which I believe is essential, and the TV wasn’t working. I didn’t reach out to the staff since I didn’t have the time. That said, the hotel is in a fantastic location and maintains a clean environment despite being in an older building. I’ve stayed at NH Collection hotels, including their 5-star properties, and they always seem to fall just short of being great. There’s definitely room for improvement. Lastly, I witnessed a customer requesting wine glasses from reception, only to be denied because the wine was purchased elsewhere—I found this to be poor service.

Very good, great location. Kind staff and nice room, really enjoy it.
