The hotel is very close to the Lodo port. But since it is too close, the house will shake when the boat hits the levee.
Room amenities are a little dated, Even though it's a non-smoking room, I can still smell some smoke.
All the staff are very friendly. They can prepare a takeaway breakfast if you leave the hotel before breakfast time.

The Villa Laguna hotel is ideally located on Lido island near the vaporetto station. Fantastic view on the laguna and Venice. The small appartments (bedroom + room) are ok but the decoration is a bit dated and the floors really need updating. We had a very pleasant stay.

Friendly hotel on the ‘seaside’ island of Venice, Lido Villa Laguna has a great spot on Lido, right next to the ferry stop and with lovely views over the lagoon towards Venice. We stayed in a suite which consisted of two small rooms connected by a short passageway. The best part about the room was the direct views towards Venice. The style is a bit dated and the aircon never seemed to get the room cold enough but the beds were comfortable and everything worked. The room worked well for us and our two young children for our 3 night stay. The hotel reception is super friendly and the breakfast is great with plenty of choice and that great view towards Venice. We loved the more laid back and less busy vibe on Lido along with the nice beaches, plenty of restaurants and ice cream parlours. Getting into Venice was easy too with ferry’s taking between 15-25 mins to get to St Marco’s square depending on what line you take (download the CheBateo? App and just put in your starting point and end point to get live update on the ferry boats, which run about every 12 minutes). A 24hr boat pass was €25, €35 for 48hrs and €45 for 72 hours unlimited travel. Overall a lovely hotel and really great stay,

Such a fantastic place to stay for our Venice honeymoon. We stayed in the second floor suite with a balcony with fabulous views of Venice. It is less than a minutes walk to the vaporetto station so we could be in St Mark's Square within ten minutes of leaving the hotel. The staff were all charming and very keen to help. The only criticism I would make was the food in the restaurant was disappointing - may well have been our choice on the night, but we chose to eat elsewhere for the rest of our stay. That was fine though, as there are many lovely places to eat on the lido within a couple of minutes walk. Highly recommended. The photos are our own from the balcony.

Best experience I’ve ever had in ANY hotel stay, including the Waldorf Astoria. The entire stay was completely exquisite, romantic, beautiful views, food was fantastic, extremely clean, and the hotel staff could not have been more helping and considerate. ALL their staff went above and beyond to help in every way they could. Absolutely the best hotel stay I’ve ever had the pleasure of booking. Only minus I can think of, is that if you’re tall, do not book the top floor. The ceiling is slanted and a little low in places. But the view was worth ducking and dodging the roof beams!!! 😂 Again, thank you very much to the hotel staff for giving us such a pleasant stay. We will be back!!!
