La estancia fue bien si no pensamos en lo que nos pasó el primer día. Pone que a partir de las 21:00 cierra recepción, así que nosotros no avisamos de que llegaríamos a las 20:30 porque habría tiempo de sobra. Resulta que no media hora antes ya estaba cerrada y estuvimos una hora entera esperando a que se resolviera el problema. El número de teléfono que está en esta web no es el correcto o si no no lo cogen, no sé qué fallo hay. Al final pudimos entrar, pero ya estábamos buscando otro hotel. Al día siguiente pregunté en recepción y "en momentos excepcionales cerramos antes". Era un viernes y el sábado también habían cerrado antes de tiempo. Me parece horrible que cierren antes y no avisen a nadie, para nosotros esto fue un putadón porque llevábamos viajando desde las 13:00 y no pudimos descansar hasta las 21:45.

Nog nooit heb ik zo'n onvriendelijke ontvangst meegemaakt als in dit hotel. Er waren ongeveer 40 plaatsen in de ontbijtruimte, maar van onze groep van 35 studenten mochten er maar 9 tegelijk ontbijten. Terwijl er in de ontbijtzaal 31 plekken leeg waren, andere gasten waren er op dat moment niet, stonden 26 studenten van ons te wachten in de gang. Dat deden ze achter pallets die de beheerster van het hotel had neergezet om te voorkomen dat er meer dan 9 mensen tegelijk in de ontbijtzaal zouden zitten. Ondanks de totaal gestreste en volstrekt ongeschikte beheerster van dit hotel, bleven onze studenten beleefd. Dit hotel met zoveel onvriendelijkheid wensen we echter niemand toe.

I'm pregnant, Room 127 the air conditioning was not working, it was 32 degrees outside and the room was boiling as at the front of hotel. I set it on 15 degrees on cool and after 3 hours it was still nearly 26 degrees! I complained to reception to move rooms, but was told the hotel was full and there was no spare rooms. The lady on reception was rude and said she could not check the air conditioning in my room (which I had paid for in booking and needed it) She told me to message Celine the director which I did, the message I got back from her was next time you stay at Verdun budget you will receive a commercial gesture? Well, I'm not planning on coming back, i would like some compensation back for this room ASAP.. I have asked for this but my message on *********** has been ignored. I had to sleep in my friends room as air conditioning was working in theirs. Absolutely disgusting way to treat customers. I am still awaiting a refund!!!!!!

Die Bedienung wirklich sehr unfreundlich und drohte uns die Polizei zu rufen falls wir nicht absolut leise sind und nicht ab 22 Uhr in den Zimmern bleiben. Zusätzlich wurde nur für uns früh der Kaffeeautomat ausgeschalten und die Nutella weggenommen, weil man Angst hatte wir würden randalieren. Wirklich schlechte Erfahrung.
