The resort is absolutely beautiful! Rooms were immaculate and perfect for our family of 3. The beach was beautiful and pool wasn’t too crowded. The only thing that’s not ideal is that there are no other restaurants close by. I was not impressed with the food at all and wish I could have left property to get lunch etc. I will definitely go back!

Family of four. Suite was misleadingly small. Pullout bed was larger than the bed itself (at best a full size). When we woke up for breakfast we were some of the first to the restaurant at 8am. Reservation was required. The general store doesn’t open til 9. As an aside they started locking the doors of that general store 20 min before its posted close the night before - I was able to get them to let me in to buy waters at $4 each. Room is musty. Pretty frustrating experience all around.

Issues with “unexpected” pool maintenance had the pool closed for our stay. Restaurant hours were not particularly family friendly. Service was slow (staff were lovely so clearly an issue with Disney being cheap and not hiring adequate staff). Murphy bed replacing one of the queen beds in our room was not noted on the web site. In general it most likely only makes sense to stay here if it is your DVC home resort.

I used to give this resort 5 stars, but have lowered it yo 2 stars because the changed 1 bed in the inn to a Murphy bed. The Murphy bed is not as comfortable as the previous queen bed. If I wanted studio room then I would have booked a studio room. The inn rooms were wonderful when the had 2 queen beds.

We stayed at Disney Vero Beach for four days. We encountered something we had never had before a truly negative manager (aka guest great experience manager). It was my husband birthday, so I ordered a gift basket through food & beverage (they were very nice and helpful). When we got to the room it was not there called front desk and it was brought up lady was very apologetic. When I walked into the bathroom, I found there had placed us in a handicap room. I never requested it, nor did I want to stay here with no counter space or storage space in the bathroom. We called down to front desk one more time and they said they could nothing about it today, to come down tomorrow. As told, we went down to the front desk the next morning to address the issue with a manager and request we be moved to a regular room, we were met by the on-duty manager, titled guest great experience manager. Upon explaining the situation and requesting a room change we were met immediately with a very negative attitude and use of the type of negative responses that we have never encountered in all our many years of being Disney vacation club members, frequent park visitors since we were children, and all around “Disniacs.” Every sentence began with a “we can’t,” “we don’t have” or “there’s nothing available.” I told her we never requested a handicap room and that was unacceptable. What she said was. “Sorry we are fully booked, and we have the right by contract to assign the room.” I asked her, “if that is the case why was it not disclosed on the check-in website. Her response, “I will let them know.” She then proceeds to quote chapter and verse on why the birthday surprise basket was not in the room. She said, since I ordered a bottle of Fairy Tale it could not be left unattended. There is no one in the room, so who is going to take it, an employee? The room is locked and unless someone were to break in, I doubt anybody would touch it. I was ready to check out and leave; I was done. I worked extremely hard to plan the Birthday for my husband just to have it spoiled. She then proceeded to advise that she would have maintenance replace the light we also reported that was out in the room and send a plumber to check on the water pressure, which was done. The persons who came up had great Disney cast member attitudes. The plumber, upon request, changed the shower head to a normal one so the water pressure was at least a little better. We took our showers and with a lipless shower that opens up directly to the floor and allows water to run all over the floor toward the toilet, etc. The shower curtain does not touch the floor large gap. Any time a person who is not wheelchair bound uses the shower the water spills out everywhere on the bathroom floor, providing a very real slip and fall hazard. Necessity is the mother of invention; we had to place beach towels Along the shower curtain perimeter to absorb all the spillage every time we showered. The Guest Great E

We were here for two nights. This is a Disney vacation timeshare property. It's right on the beach. Because of potential wind/wave issues, there is a hedgerow between the hotel and the beach, so you can't see the ocean from the first level. It should be noted that the beach was very badly eroded when were here, but was due to be replenished soon. We did have several issues here, and I'll cover them first. The hotel is actually NOT in Vero Beach, but in Wabasso Beach which is 10+ miles north. We drove directly to Vero Beach before realizing that we needed to be 10 miles north. Getting to Vero Beach from the hotel at certain times of the day can be a slow drive on crowded A1A. Probably not an issue for most people, but we were looking forward to trying some of the better restaurants in Vero Beach. For the first night we had to cancel a dinner reservation at a place in south Vero Beach---just too far away, and ended up eating at the hotel restaurant both nights. We reserved a two queen room, because kings were sold out. All of the oceanfront rooms were also sold out. So we assumed our room would have a garden view. Nope---it had a side view of a concrete roof and some construction, with a tight little balcony. This was perhaps the worst beach hotel view we've ever had. It turns out that the "two-queen" was actually one queen bed and a pull down sofa which converts to a queen murphy bed. The Disney reservation agent did not make me aware of what a "two queen" really was. So I complained to the hotel manager on duty about this, but she was not helpful at all, and actually put me on the defense. She could not get me another room, and would not give me a room discount. Other issues---although the room was fairly large, the bathroom had a small sink area. Also, there is no fitness room (but this is probably not unusual for such a family beach hotel). There were some positive parts of our stay, however. The hotel restaurant was surprisingly good compared to what you have at many beach hotels. At two breakfasts and two dinners, the menu was very creative, the food and cocktails good, and service fine. We specifically complimented the on-site head chef at dinner. Parking is free at an underground garageThe pool area is very large, and the pool very nice. It was supposed to be heated, but for some reason was not heated on the one day we swam---not a big issue. It's interesting that the lifeguards have to keep eyes on the pool at ALL times. I went up to ask one a question, and he would not respond to me, not even turn toward me. A bit weird, but I guess a good thing. Maybe they should put up a sign to tell guests not to talk to lifeguards. Well, I have over 400 Tripadvisor lodging reviews, and this is among the longest. Overall, this is probably a decent family beach hotel, but for us the number of negatives was surprisingly large for an upscale Disney resort.

Love this little resort. Our studio room was very comfortable and clean with plenty of room. The resort is well staffed and very attentive. They cater to every age group with scheduled activities for the kiddos as well as adults. The pool area had very engaging staff entertaining all those brave souls who dared to get in on a dreary cold day of on and off rain. The miniature golf course seemed to be a hit with many families. The beach is beautiful but the weather made it uninviting for the 2 days we were there. Plenty to do. The restaurant on site was also good. If you can get a reservation at this resort to stay the night (they hard to get; book early) I would say go, you will not be sorry.

As with every previous experience at Disney's Vero Beach Resort, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Impeccable service, super friendly staff, pleasant and relaxed a**osphere... We also had dinner at Wind and Waves grill... Never fails to please!

Really a nice place to relax. It is a small resort with great staff and amenities. We have traveled to this resort a number of times over the years and have never been disappointed. You have a private access to the beach.
