Ibis Versailles Château Reviews

This hotel is pretty bad. The elevator is broken, so you have to climb the stairs to get up and down. There is no cup, no kettle, and no small refrigerator in the room. The water supply was cut off at 11pm, and I wouldn't have known it the next morning if I hadn't looked at the paper on the elevator door. There was nothing to eat for breakfast, so it was terrible.

The room is relatively small, but it is very close to the Palace of Versailles, the location is nothing to say, and everything else is OK. It beats the geographical location.

The guys at the reception are kind and friendly, the rooms are small but after a few long hours walking around the city you can rest peacefully.

TO FLEE!!!!!! A nightclub is located right next to the hotel, as a result of which loud music until 5 a.m. prevents you from sleeping despite the window being closed. Don't hesitate to report it on the site!!!!! Hotel and rooms with a slightly dated decor (despite a recent but ugly lick of paint), lower end than 3 stars, traces of rust at the bottom of the bathroom door, WC, shower and sink with questionable hygiene and disinfection , bedroom floor not vacuumed (hair is present), relatively comfortable bedding, warm and pleasant duvet, OK temperature in the room and air conditioner present. Average breakfast: orange juice dispenser empty from 6:30 a.m. and not replaced, no fruit offered, but overall it's still better than the room. Staff nothing more, reception a little cold and bare minimum. Magnetic card intermittently defective and not replaced despite informed staff. In short, I do not recommend this establishment at all given the prices!!!!!!

Breakfast simple, small room, water pressure low. Anyhow, the hotel is affordable for B&B for business trip.

During my recent stay at the hotel, there was a momentary delay during check-in as the staff took some extra time to locate my ******* reservation. Despite this initial hiccup, the room, albeit on the smaller side, managed to adequately fulfill my needs. The presence of a comfortable bed and a well-functioning shower, complete with hot water, contributed positively to the overall accommodation experience. One minor inconvenience surfaced with the high and tight toilet seat, requiring some adjustment on my part. However, the hotel's redeeming qualities came to the forefront with its prime location in close proximity to public transportation and an array of diverse restaurants, which significantly added to its appeal. The consistent friendliness and accommodation provided by the front desk staff were notable highlights of my stay, fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout. While the breakfast service was generally satisfactory, falling into the "okay" category, there might be room for enhancement in this aspect. In summary, my stay at the hotel proved to be generally positive, with a host of noteworthy highlights, including accommodating staff, a convenient location, and comfortable amenities. I would recommend this establishment to fellow travelers seeking a well-located and service-oriented accommodation option, acknowledging some minor areas for improvement.

A decent hotel in a really good location. Very close to the Chateau and half an hour from the centre of Paris by good train service. Neibourhood nice with a lot of eating places etc

Nice hotel in a perfect area. lots of bars and restaurants near by.Paris center is only 40 mins by train.Only one negative expensive car parking. We stayed for 3 days 60 euros.

We found the location to be very convenient, close to the Chateau and the train station. However, the room was extremely small, considering the price. Cheaper than in Paris, which I've heard also has small rooms. A little culture shock coming from Canada. The 12 euro each breakfast was ok, nothing fantastic like we've had in other hotels on this trip.

The property is in good condition but the room was quite small and the bathroom was too small

Would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room and a small fridge, but room was very comfortable otherwise.

Excellent breakfast! This is a significant reason why we’ll continue to stay at the Ibis.
