After checking in, I found used toilet paper and hair on the bed. I suspected that the sheets were not changed at all. This is really a bad habit.

Room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Breakfast was DELICIOUS! Lots of options, was constantly refilled and cleaned up. Best continental hotel breakfast. The only complaint we had was the pool. My son was very excited for the pool but said it was small and very packed every time he tried going there. Not really much that can be done about that when there’s a lot of guests though. So not a big deal. Overall … a great stay with friendly staff!

Very clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Fresh cookies and donuts at reception and a superb breakfast buffet with really delicious hot cinnamon buns and a wealth of other offerings. The red rose bushes blooming out front were gorgeous. Beds very comfortable, rooms clean and bright. Odd yet comfy chaise lounge in room was an amusing decorative choice. Would highly recommend this hotel and this chain in general.

There were insects and spiders crawling in the bed with my daughter. She is now petrified. We complained to the front desk our room was moved and we did not feel safe. The pool area is dangerous. It is outrageously slippery. While walking slowly my whole family fell multiple times. I have a 5 year old daughter and a 6year old nephew. We couldn't stay at the pool long due to the slippery conditions. Multiple people were falling.

3 stays in the past 6 weeks. 1st stay, checked in around 8pm, unpacked, and found feces in multiple spots on the carpet. Actual feces. Called the front desk, asked to be moved, was told no due to a full house. The front desk guy came, confirmed the disgusting mess, and placed towels over it as a solution. Since everywhere else was booked, we were stuck for the night. 3rd stay, checked in around 8 again, settled in, unpacked, and then discovered there was no running water. Not in the faucet, shower, or toilet. Call the front desk, clerk did not seem to believe me, said he would come and inspect. Eventually he shows up, confirms there is no water, and seems unsure what to do. Tell him to move us, unless the entire building is without water, and he eventually moves us to the room directly across from the elevator, with all the noise that brings. The USB outlets also were falling out of the wall, and did not work. Finally, the hotel fire alarm went off around 10pm, forcing everyone outside for a good half hour, with no explanations or apologies. This place is a blotch on the IHG brand. Staff does not care, maintenance and housekeeping is abysmal.

Our stay was marred by power loss that began overnight before our check out. So there was no hot water and only partial lighting available when we awoke. Was difficult dressing and washing this morning. But it is usually our preferred place to stay when visiting our daughter at Binghamton University
