The hotels suffers from attempts to save and minimise on everything that could have made for a pleasurable stay at this nice location in Drammen. I was cold for three days because of a centrally controlled aircon system that no-one could change. I rarely complain, but that was over the top. The receptionists did their best, but they have absolutely no influence, nor did they know how such a problem could be solved. They offered me a heater to increase the temperature that the hotel system had lowered in the first place. I declined politely such a blatantly unsustainable suggestion. Another suggestion was to join Strawberry (the chain) to get rewards, which is very strange, considering that Strawberry is the problem in the first place. The receptionists did their best with whatever solutions they had at hand, but they were obviously disconnected from the overall running of the hotel. I am a professor of management, and the system at this hotel resembles problems back in the 1970-80s, where no-one seemed responsible, customers were treated as though they all fitted into the same mould, and no-one knew what to do about it.
