First I would like to say that this hotel is the best ever. My family and I have been traveling to Victoria for the past 22 years to honor our parent and this is the hotel we chose every time we stay. All the staff are the best and we arrive we are treated with high respect. Brandy the Director of sale is wonderful with setting up our room block for each year. John the engineer and all the front desk team are the great and so friendly. We are like family. Can't wait to see you all next year. Love the hotel.

Hotel was in beginning stages of renovation. Old and dirty. From the entry way to room, cluttered with materials for renovation. Room carpet was dirty and bedding was old. Room was spacious. Some guests were given renovated rooms but not us.

Generally very good. However, they're in the middle of a renovation. Wishing they had some non-slip solution for the bathtub. Very understaffed in the bar area and drinks were kind of pricey. Decent breakfast included. Comfortable bed with great pillows.

Stayed there before. Great location for of needs and excellent staff. When we arrived this time drive-up canopy blocked with piles of new furniture and remodeling materials. Lobby full with old furniture. 1st floor rooms and hallway in disarray. We could live with all that. BUT they left the outside doors unlocked either purposefully or were unable to repair them.(after calling to their attention)
I stay in hotels for at least the idea of higher security. VERY dissatisfied with this stay. Hope they finish the remodeling soon and take their security more seriously.

My wife and I travel professionally and live on the road full time. We booked a 1 bedroom king suite several weeks before staying here. When we arrived we were informed that the hotel was overbooked and we were moved into a smaller room that was not a suite despite the fact when I booked, there were many available. Of course, there were lots of excuses as to why it happened, and no answer was given as to why we were pushed out into a smaller room, despite booking weeks in advance. This is the third time in the last 6 months we have had this happen at a Hilton property. It has not been an issue in any of the other hotel chains we have stayed at. Only Hiltons. Oh, and of course, excuses were given as to why we couldn't be refunded the difference in price. So we payed a premium price for the cheapest room. Additionally, the hotel is being renovated so it's torn up and trashed everywhere with lots of noise due to the work being done. If we had known this was happening, we would have NOT booked here. But of course, they don't note this at the time of booking. So they charged the normal price for a subpar stay. My perception of Hilton is that it's being poorly run overall, including this hotel. I can not recommend staying here, and we've given up on Hiltons. We will not stay at one again.

Room and pool were great! Room was very spacious and clean. Was disappointed in the breakfast. By 9am most of the food was gone and not refilled.

Room (1st floor -- two Queen Beds) was in horrible conditions with stains on the carpet, beds and walls. If I wrote all that was wrong with the room this would easily be two pages of comments -- if you can think it it probably would be in the review. If you are a Hilton person there are other properties to choose from; if we were staying more than one night we would have moved. Now please note the entire hotel is undergoing a COMPLETE upgrade and refresh -- so when done I'm sure the rooms will be in great shape. There are shipping containers in the parking lot and lots of boxes in the halls and main areas. So be warned and I expect it to be quite a few months before it is done. Staff was great and super helpful and happy they are getting a better property -- but until they do I would avoid this place. The room felt like I was renting it for the hour -- if you can imagine that. Every lamp was broke; one bed's mattress was so worn it looked like the letter "U" and all three curtains were coming off the wall. Other Hilton's to choose from close by.....

A towel used to clean the washroom was left on the shower curtain. Some left over food from a previous guest was found on the sofa. We asked someone from the housekeeping to clean the room but they said there’s no one.
