Lights turned off in restroom area constantly and didnt turn on till morning then off again :/

I try to help out hotels that maybe dont have as many stars or get a bad rap. The room I was put in was sub standard. The heat didnt work. The shower valves were in dire need of being replaced. The shower was stained or dirty or both. They have a maintenance guy but he was no where to be found. The price charged for exchange received was lopsided.

We were these to visit UofH so we wanted something near by. We were only there for one night and because we had paid decided to tough it out. Nope, never again. GOOD Staff at the front desk was very nice. The TV worked and there was WIFI NOT SO GOOD The motel is very old and in need of serious repair and updating beginning with the parking lot and driveways. They have large pot holes that if you're not careful could cause damage to your vehicle. We reserved a non-smoking room but it clearly was not. It smelled of smoke and must or possibly mold. The door had gaps when it was closed so any cool air from the a/c escaped as fast as it was generated. The chair was stained and had clearly seen better days. The carpet was old and we weren't sure about the cleanliness so walked around with shoes on. The 2 queen size beds were comfortable but the blankets and comforters were stained so we weren't sure if they had been washed. The bathroom was sp****, had no towels/wash cloths or other amenities. The tub looked like it had not been cleaned although that may have been more related to aging as the finish on the tub was non-existent. The best part was the toilet; if you sat too far forward it lifted up where it should have been connected to the floor. it seem to function fine but clearly needed to be repaired. The frig which was dorm room size worked but someone had left a soda in the freezer and it exploded. The room just needed a really good general cleaning as the counter tops showed residue from spills that were not adequately cleaned BAD If all the above was not bad enough there were flies which we speculate were coming in from the gaps in the door. So as you dispatched with one fly a few minutes later another one would show up. Area was bit sketchy, lots of people in and out all through the night with loud cars, loud music, and maybe other activities. Who ever gave those previous reviews must not have stayed there.

Ineeded an accessible (handicapped) room this time only have 2 rooms 1 was out of order other one will always be occupied .ive got bad hip and knees hard for me to get down/up from toilet. You have been great place to stay but will be needing to find another place .

Great place good price

Absolutely the worst place we have ever stayed. Roaches, huge stains on carpet, dirt all over floor, bathtub dirty, blood stains on sheets, holes in wall, ceiling falling in, mattress so old you completely sink into the bottom. No clean linens

Highly recommend if on a tight budget

The property was dirty got checked into a room that was unclean the appliances in the room didn't work and couldn't be fix till Monday front door looked and felt like it could be kicked in easily
