The room was small, bed was uncomfortable (could feel the springs through the thin 2 single mattresses that they put together to make it a queen) Photos make the place look nice when its not!! No A/C but a small rubbish fan that barely worked, i recommend doing your resesrch before booking here...

Quite run down, fridge and pantry cupboard needed a good clean. Fridge didn't cool down, bedroom light didn't work.
Man on reception didn't know if night market was on in town that night, should be more informed.

This motel needs to be detonated. It was a disgrace and should be ashamed to offer accommodation to tourists. It is run down with no air conditioning. The bed belonged in a dump. Thinner than a prisoners mattress with terrible stains on it. Car parking is a joke. Manager is unfriendly and un-helpful. I have never given a review like this before.

There was an extreme smell of sulphur coming from the car park. All of Rotorua can smell a bit like sulphur, but for some reason in the car park of this hotel there is a hole in the ground where the smell is almost as strong as it was at geothermal sites like Hell's Gate! In our room the windows were open when we arrived and the smell in the room was unbearable! In almost the whole rest of the town the smell was not nearly as strong. Bring a peg for your nose!

Overall OK for tourist stay when visiting Rotorua area. Some small things could be improved. E.g. too long faucet let water easily go out in bathroom sink. The toaster can accommodate 4 pieces of breads. That is exceptionally nice. But two of them didn't work.

The rooms are spacious, and a short walk to downtown Queenstown. Would definitely stay again. If you get a room with a view of the lake and city, it is well worth it.
