Pamarah Lodge

We spent the last three days of our three week Africa trip at the beautiful Pamarah Lodge, boutique Hotel in Victoria Falls. I had read many positive reviews of this hotel before leaving the UK so booked in well in advance and it certainly did not disappoint. It’s tucked away in a leafy green area of Victoria Falls away from the crowds. The hotel itself although small and intimate is very chic and stylish with beautiful areas to relax around the pool. We stayed in the romantic honeymoon suite which had its own outside private terrace with outdoor shower. The exquisite bathroom had a very large bathtub, which was a real luxury, especially for my wife. After days on the road traveling through Africa there were plenty of sore muscles to soothe ! We stayed half board and the food in the restaurant was some of the best we’ve had whilst in Africa. The hotel also booked all our activities and trips in advance which was really helpful, and we were able to make the most of our limited time at Victoria Falls. What was most outstanding and shone through everything was the absolute dedication of the staff to provide the highest levels of service, nothing was ever too much. We would like to thank Ross and his wife Raynie,who took the time every day to come and meet the guests and help and advise in anyway they could to make our stay better. This hotel is a real little gem and I would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family and others to stay and certainly we will be back as it feels like we’ve made new friends in such a short space of time.

Amazing stay at Pamarah Lodge! The staff went above and beyond to make my trip comfortable. Solo Traveler room was cozy and spotless, breakfast was delicious every morning. The team helped arrange all my transfers smoothly and were always quick to respond. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Victoria Falls, truly felt like a home away from home.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at this little piece of heaven in the Victoria Falls. What makes this place better than most is the staff who always had a smile on their face any time of the day and attended to anything we needed. The owners - Phil, Ross and Marina came to meet us every day to check in which was so lovely (very rare). On our last day our flight was delayed by several hours and they generously allowed us to keep the room for the whole day for no charge. This was a godsend as we had 30 hours of travel ahead of us so it was nice to be able to freshen up before the big journey. This place is an oasis - ambience so peaceful and quiet but about 5-10 mins into town. The room was very comfortable, stylish and nice hot showers. The pool area was especially tranquil and where I spent quite a bit of time relaxing reading my book between game drives and other activities. The food was also very tasty. We did the 3 course menu as well as the express menu. The French fries are the best I’ve ever eaten - home made with so much crunch. I ordered them everyday. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we will be recommending this place to all our family and friends in Australia

The lodge is beautiful. Good location. Rooms are stylish and very comfortable. Staff and service is great. Food is delicious incuding biscuits and we loved home style potato chips. ( not like usual French fries) Love the whole ambience of the lodge. The owners are very friendly and saw us every day during our 4 night stay. Ross and his wife Marina are very jovial. Our flight was delayed but they let us spend almost entire day at the lodge without any extra charges. Highly recommend to stay here.

We enjoyed this slice of heaven. The staff and accommodations were top notch. We felt very safe, secure, and relaxed. The activities with pickup from the lodge made our trip lots of fun. We stayed in the family room and it was everything we could possibly want or need at our fingertips. Walking distance to a fun convenience store and restaurant. We were able to pass a warthog, school children, and many locals along the was as well.

I was nervous about booking here because I have only stayed in 5 star luxury resorts along the Zambezi, but wow—this place really impressed us! We decided to stay at Pamarah specifically because it looked family friendly, and the reviews were all positive. We have nothing but praise for this amazing property. The rooms were clean and comfortable with excellent amenities, the staff was amazing and made our stay very pleasant, and the restaurant was top-notch. We booked our rooms with the breakfast and dinner package, and we would highly recommend this option. We also booked all of our tours through the hotel and we could not have asked for better experiences on any leg of our journey. It’s five (plus) stars from us, and our new go to place in Victoria Falls! And most importantly, it really was the best place I can imagine for a family trip. In addition, we had the privilege of meeting the owners, and they clearly care deeply about providing amazing hospitality and a responsible approach to their business practices.

Pamarah Lodge was fantastic from start to finish. When I arrived, the refreshing drink and towel was a nice gesture and I loved the layout of the hotel. The solo traveller room was ideal for my trip and the bed was super comfy and the amenities were perfect. The safe worked well and is always useful. There were bug sprays and soaps in the room plus you always have a flask of water by your bedside. You'll notice an aviation theme going on through framed pictures and the fan at the restaurant is shaped like a triple blade propeller, for any aviation enthusiasts reading this. As I walked around the lodge - the attention to detail when it was all planned out - is on point! Even the plants and bushes between the rooms gave it a wonderful natural feel. The bar and dinner service was exceptional! My first dinner with the battered bream fish was beautiful. As with the breakfasts and other meals I had, I was really pleased with how tasty they were. Couldn't fault it. Seeing the owner Phil and his family was great to catch up with after a very very long time and made my stay at Pamarah feel a little extra special seeing familiar faces again. The outside pool area is great and felt sociable with some folks I met there but otherwise just perfect. The team looked after me very well and answered any questions I had with no fuss. Overall, I highly recommend Pamarah Lodge to anyone looking for a stay in Victoria Falls and the staff were amazing at arranging anything I needed from the time I booked and during my stay.

Thank you for such a memorable stay at your lodge! My friend and I were both traveling as singles and found everything we needed at the Pamarah Lodge. From the kind personal attention, to the clean private rooms, and overall peaceful surrounds. Phil and his wife Mornette greated us every day during our 5 day stay as well as their children, Ross, Maryna and Holly. The staff went out of their way to make sure our activities, tours and cabs were planned and even suggested something we may have missed - the Sunrise tour! All of our meals were prepared very nicely and timely and the wait staff was professional and fun to chat with. Loved having the choice of a set dinner as well as the express menu. I hope to return soon with some more of my friends!
