It's a single-story lodge-style accommodation. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, so even if you have a lot of luggage, it's not a problem. The grounds are also spacious, so you can take walks and relax in the garden or by the pool. The staff were also very helpful.

Lovely friendly helpful staff, restaurant in African style with beautiful gardens. Great meals, I had steak and companion chicken. Generous servings cooked to perfection. Supplied take away breakfast as we had early departure. Our room was very clean with soft beds

The staff were absolutely amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely went out of their way to accommodate all of our needs. Their hospitality truly stood out and made our stay feel special. The only downside was the lighting. The bathroom lighting was very poor, and the lighting around parts of the property was quite dim as well, which made it difficult to see clearly in the evenings. Improving this would significantly enhance the overall guest experience. That said, the service was exceptional, and we truly appreciated the care and effort from the team.

We stayed for a few nights before and after our Safari/Vic Falls trip & we loved it. Rooms were cozy & so clean. Staff were fantastic, all so friendly. We only had breakfast at the lodge as we ate out for dinner, but what we did eat was lovely (amazing omelettes!) One evening we asked if it was possible just for some chips & bread (chip butty!) & the staff did it first us no problem, nothing was too much trouble for them. They were great when a member of our group was poorly too, so kind. They even did a little birthday cake for me when they found out it was my birthday. These little touches really made our stay. Felt like a home from home. On our last night there was a fantastic storm too, sat on our terrace with a wine watching the lightning & torrential rain was magic! Missing Zim every day! Thanks Bayete for a wonderful stay! We would definitely stay again.
