The owner of the hotel is a Chinese couple. The hotel is in a retro Victorian style. It is very suitable for friends who want to experience a traditional country cottage. It will give you a very western retro experience. But the room is very small and the location is not particularly convenient from the perspective of sightseeing, but it is considered fair when reflected in the price, and different people have different opinions.

A lovely heritage building with great views of Craigdarroch Castle. Very quiet and comfortable. Each room is different -- we've stay in the castle room and the King room. Both very comfortable. Also love that windows open! Very inviting common livingroom with cofee/tea available all day. Easy access to downtown. Will definitely stay there again.

A wonderful romantical old hotel IT was an experience for us staying two nichts in this little castle.we had breakfast and rooms very cute and romantical . It is very closes to the hoponhopoff Tour Stop the Craigmylecastle. Fishermen s warft Sand Chinatown is not so far

We enjoyed our stay very much. I have to say the relaxing atmosphere was wonderful! I suggest you leave the music play longer into the evening. It was wonderful! We bought new playing cards as the ones there were pretty old, and played games in the relaxing area. Other than a squeaky bathroom door, it was perfect!!

Parking is challenging so there were quite a few times I had to park 1-2 blocks from the entrance but it was free. This is an old property so you hear people walking around above you. There was one night where the people above my room had children which was loud and uncomfortable from a noise level but thankfully this was only one evening. So mostly quiet but I was worried at one point in my stay because noise carries in this property.

What a lovely surprise to find this gem. Very cozy, lovely architecture, friendly, attention to detail, spotless, beautifully decorated, great location lots of amenities. Highly recommend.
