READ, READ, READ! Do not get swindled like we did with this hotel. We stayed in this hotel a few days ago and believed it would be a good hotel since it had an 8.0 rating. LIES, LIES, LIES! I had two rooms and both were the most disgusting rooms I have ever been in in my life! Words cannot do justice for how gross this hotel was. From gummy snacks left on our floor from the last guest to rust and mold on the towel racks in the bathroom to the AC unit being held up by PVC pipes to unsheeted boxsprings under the bed this was so bad that got two different rooms at a nearby hotel. I WILL STRESS THIS AGAIN: DO NOT STAY HERE!!

The check-in process was efficient and welcoming. However, upon entering the first room assigned to me, I noticed several maintenance issues. The bathroom ceiling exhibited signs of mold, the bathroom door showed signs of rust, and the AC unit was not properly installed, resulting in visible gaps.
Upon informing the front desk clerk about these concerns, I was promptly assigned another room. In this room, however, I encountered a few more challenges. The refrigerator was old and showed signs of rust, with paint peeling off. Additionally, the lighting fixtures were not functional, and the lamps were visibly aged and rusty. The rooms also had a distinct smell of mold and mildew.
Considering these conditions, I made the decision to check out and seek alternative accommodation.

The lobby is nice. Hotel has an 8 star rating. I was not worried. Our room, however, told a different story. Despite having a no-smoking sign on the door, the room smelled like smoke. The light inside the door did not work. Beds were visibly old, but overall slept well enough. The bathroom, however, was disgusting. The toilet seat was cracked. There was hair in the drain of the tub. The tub surround was visibly moldy, esp in the corners and the back wall. The tissue box on the counter was empty. There was one partial roll of toilet paper on the counter, no holder for it. The front facing of the counter was missing. The towel rack on the wall was nearly all rust, yet the towels were still placed there. The hair dryer was gone; the bracket to hold it was left bare on the bathroom wall. Sadly, I didn’t think to take pics. We just used that bathroom as sparingly as possible and didn’t shower. If we had not been so very tired and with very limited options, we would not have accepted the room. And even this hotel was sold out. I wonder if every room had these problems, as there were three tour busses in the parking lot. That’s a lot of people to disappoint.

I highly recommend not staying at this hotel. The photos on their website do not reflect the state of the hotel. The pool and hot tub are green, slimy and half way full (with no sign indicating it was closed or anything). The elevator didn’t work (with no out of order sign). The couch in my room had a giant stain on the seat. The air conditioning was out in the lobby and hallways. Barely any cars were there, so it seemed like a ghost town. I did not feel completely safe or clean. One perk is that I learned to read reviews before booking a hotel!

Where do I start! We were booked here via travel company. On arrival didn’t seem like anyone was staying! car park had a couple of work mens trucks then us. It smelt old and closed up in the check in area. We were given our room headed down the corridor with minimal lighting and poor air conditioning. Proceeded to our room to be greeted with a continuous beeping from the smoke detector in the seating area. Then in the bedroom area the smoke detector was on the floor with the wires hanging out of the unit base. Returned to check in! Was given another room on the same floor. That wasn’t much better. The fridge was fit for the tip! The safe had Old batteries in it which leaked into the safe!!! The smoke detector wasn’t even there in this room. Went to phone reception for soap and towels etc only to find there wasn’t even a wire connecting the phone! Alarm bells ring bigtime! Bar, restaurant was closed. Where do I start with the swimming pool 🤢 Or shall I say swamp!!!!!!! This hotel should not be open for business! We wanted to leave there and then but it’s was late!! First thing in the morning we left asap and booked into another hotel. Travel company are now aware, we are awaiting feedback 🤔
