This hotel is fantastic! Every person we talked to were pleasant and nice to talk to , can’t say enough nice things to say . The location is very easy to get to but there is little to do around the hotel in the downtown neighborhood. There’s a reason you have a terrific restaurant and bar , not to mention the speakeasy. The only disappointment was we didn’t see one of the 13 ghosts . Hope to stay there again

This is a beautiful historic hotel with excellent service. We were very pleased and would love to go back!! The staff really went the extra mile to make sure our stay was pleasant!

Have stayed here many times for a reason. It’s a lovely clean property and I feel safe. Restaurant and lounge are too expensive, but I discovered TCB across the street tonight. It has good food and okay wine at more reasonable prices. I love The Blennerhasset.

The hotel is beautiful and historic and the staff is very friendly. The hallways and rooms were dark and musty. My side of the bed did not have a night table which I need for water, cell phone, medicine, etc. The breakfast was ok but they were placing guests next to each other when the dinning room was empty. I ordered fries with my breakfast which never arrived. $3 for watered coffee? We met a lady that manages events who has worked at the hotel for 37 years. She was adorable and spent like 15 minutes describing the great things about the hotel and town. Awesome.

This is a Beautiful old hotel. Comfortable beds - the JFK room is a real treat! Excellent food in dining room. Friendly staff. Close to a fantastic children’s discovery center. Do the Blennerhassett Island package! The flowers outside are gorgeous.

We visited Marietta, OH/Parkersburg, WVA over Memorial Day weekend. When we pulled up to The Blennerhassett, I knew I made the right lodging choice. The hotel is well-maintained with lovely container plantings on the exterior sidewalk. We were warmly greeted in the gracious lobby. Our room was very clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. Staff are very hospitable and clearly enjoy working there. The best meals we had over the weekend were in the hotel's restaurant. Check out the speakeasy while at the hotel and take the hotel tour; we enjoyed both. And both are available to non-guests. The Blennerhassett will be our hands down choice place to stay when we visit the area again. Some things we did over the weekend which we recommend: went on the Historic Marietta Tour of Homes; visited the Campus Martius Museum in Marietta, visited Henderson Hall in Williamstown, WVA (between Marietta and Parkersburg); and drove through the Julia-Ann Square Historic District in Parkersburg.

Staff in all areas of the hotel are excellent. Rooms and bath are spotless with great towels! Cuisine is outstanding for breakfast, dinner and the coffee bar. Highly recommend. Will stay again and again. Weekends offer entertainment on the patio too!
