We've spent 3 days in this little gem. Felt like ages before we managed to get there from the port, but it was worth it. Our room on the 1st floor was huge and very comfortable. The balcony was amazing, although transparent glass makes you very exposed. Breakfast massive and tasty, occasionally we had a cat visiting us and allowing chosen few to feed him. If you want to go to town, there is a bus (not too frequent but doable), or you can have a nice long walk. And of course, there is THE beach. A few mins walk from the hotel you get into the long, sandy and mostly empty heaven. Definitely on my list to return, both the beach and the hotel. A word of caution: balcony door is very heavy! Moving it was like going to the gym!

O Pestana ilha dourada é um edifício muito bonito por fora, mas com falta de alguma manutenção ou detalhes descuidados por dentro, as villas são espaçosas e despidas de decoração, e de conforto, existe falta de zelo na higiene dos pavimentos, e um desgaste significativo nas almofadas, colchões e cortinas tanto das janelas como do banho. (Aspectos que o Pestana não facilita). As refeições do pequeno-almoço e jantar, nåo são nada de especial para o que estou habituado no Pestana, surpreendente o jantar de réveillon e toda a festa preparada com rigor e detalhe, com transferes organizados para o centro do Porto Santo onde nos esperava champanhe, bombons e passas a ver sobre o pontão o espetacular fogo de artifício. Destaque pra o colaborador Manuel Monteiro, anfitrião principal do Restaurante que se mostrou sempre disponível, dedicado, com simpatia e a representar bem a imagem Pestana. Percebemos no final que não iria abrir mais, e que grandes projetos no Porto Santo surgirão sob a alçada do Pestana.

Hotel novo, não muito grande. Localizado em local calmo e aprazível. Simpatia de todos os funcionários de onde realço o Sr. Manuel da Rosa. Bom pequeno almoço. O jantar não era buffet e tinha pouca escolha na carta. Alguns funcionários apesar de serem simpáticos e tentarem agradar não falavam nem percebiam nada de português o que trouxe alguns problemas de comunicação.

Very pleasantly surprised with the quality and friendly/helpful staff at this resort. We took advantage of the pool, dry and steam sauna. The food was very good and the buffet breakfast was plentiful. There is a short walk to the beach but once there, it is amazing!

Beautiful modern comfortable relaxed hotel. Excellent shower and great housekeeping. Lovely clean pool . Superb views. 10min to fantastic beach. Great variety of breakfasts and lovely helpful staff.

the hotel is located remotely, but near the best beach on the island. The hotel is modern and eco, which is very important for me. A bottle of wine was waiting for me in the room. The bathroom had all the necessary supplies, including toothbrushes and toothpaste. the breakfast is varied: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, salad, different types of sausages and cheeses, yoghurts, cereals, fruits, lots of sweets, all kinds of jams! champagne, as always, in Pestana is a big plus. By the way, this is the only hotel in my life where they serve artichokes for breakfast!!! good coffee machine, the coffee is very tasty! The hotel offers scooters and cars for rent, you can arrange any excursion... a sauna and steam room are available for your use. The pool is not heated, but after the sauna it’s the best feeling! the rooms are cleaned every day. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, they will help with any problem, even if it is not their responsibility. the place you want to return to!

No dia da chegada fiquei logo desapontado com a limpeza quando fui dirigido aos balneários nem encontro a palavra para descrever a limpeza dos mesmos . Avisei logo a receção. Depois das 15.00 foi entregue o quarto outra desilusão pois não tinha varanda para o preço que se paga não justifica . Outra situação a piscina tem poucas espreguiçadeiras para tanta gente as vezes tinha que esperar por uma . Outra coisa é que este hotel não tem baldes de lixo em lugar nenhum . Deviam ter mais atenção ao meio ambiente . Dito isto o que faz este hotel não ter mais reclamações é mesmo os funcionários, são poucos mas bons especial o pessoal que esta ao pequeno almoço e ao jantar .

Well situated Hotel not far from the Town Centre and beach with a nice quiet ambience. Rooms well appointed and spacious. Always able to secure a sunbed. Breakfast buffet varied and delicious. Friendly staff.

Not many people have reviewed this hotel, but we can say that it is a truly wonderful place. The staff have been incredible and are a credit to the Pestana group . Our room was lovely and incredibly clean, and serviced every day. We only had breakfast, which was good with plenty of choice. Beautiful pool, and ideal location for the beach. We have been coming to Porto Santo now for 9 years , but this was our 1st stay here, and certainly won't be the last. So don't hesitate to just book, this hotel.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
