From the minute we arrived in Brava we were instantly welcomed. Hotel Cruz Grande is set right at the entrance to the city and is well positioned for touring around. The area is safe and there are a few bars, cafes, banks and a museum. The stay at the hotel was great, Andy and his wife go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. The room was very comfortable and had a TV and ensuite. The food is beyond doubt the best on Cape Verde. My vegetarian and gluten free dietary requirements caused no issue for the cook. The food was exceptionally fresh, tasty and healthy. The restaurant staff are very attentive and the night security man is also very friendly..A great place to stay and we will definitely return. A 10/10 hotel with a very personal touch.

Beautiful hotel with a very friendly, accommodating staff. They good out of their way to make you happy. The restaurant has some of the best meals that I have eaten in our stay in Cape Verde!
Bring plenty of cash, as the hotel does not accept credit cards.
We will definitely stay here again!
