Hotel Spa Villalba

A beautiful tranquil mountain escape. A feast for the eyes. Good food wine pool and spa. Would return in a heart beat.

Hotel VillAlba was the best hotel experience we had across all of the Canary Islands. The staff were outstanding from start to finish, attentive and genuinely invested in making the stay memorable. The spa alone is worth the trip, with every element you'd want for a varied, restorative experience: Turkish bath, ice pool, cold shower, Jacuzzi, hot and cold leg jets, a beautiful pool, and a peaceful resting area. The setting is just as unforgettable. Perched in the highest village in the islands, the hotel offers some of the most stunning night skies I've ever seen. The restaurant matched the rest of the experience with delicious, thoughtfully prepared food. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

Beautiful location if you are looking for a break away from the hurly burly. Exquisite food and nice not to be a buffet. Spa is lovely and welcome after beautiful forest walks. Rooms and hotel have a ‘real’ Spanish feel and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The village of Vilaflor is charming.

Being a solo traveler is not always easy, but from the moment I arrived I was treated with kindness and warmth. I can't thank everyone enough for making me feel welcome I stayed for a weeks half board. The breakfast and evening menu had plenty of variety and every choice I made gave me a delicious meal, although for dessert I rarely strayed from the melt in the middle chocolate Teide I spent my days hiking the local trails which are extensive, then coming back to enjoy the spa which is an absolutely luxury My room was very comfortable, and very quiet, with a seating area and the most comfortable bed I've slept in. Another small luxury was the very powerful shower If you can, book a stay here, you will not be disappointed

This hotel is the ideal location if you are interested in a relaxing vacation. It is secluded, peaceful, and serene. You cannot ask for a more peaceful stay. Located close to el Teide, the hotel offers so many hiking trails and quick access to the national park itself. The spa is not to be missed as well.

Lovely hotel, excellent service, food and spa. Great place for walking, trekking, cycling. A few restaurants in town for a change

A perfect stay in a perfect location. Only booked for 1 night but wish I could have stayed longer. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and plenty of choice. We took the half board option and found this to be great value for money. The local red vino from the Reveron family bodega nearby complimented dinner perfectly. The spa was very relaxing and I enjoyed a massage (Ayurveda) with the lovely Lisa and wow did I sleep well that night. A true retreat in the Tiede Forrest. I will be back for sure and have recommended to a few of my work colleagues who will be in Tenerife until end of March.
