A great hotel complex. Reception staff were SO helpful, above and beyond! Friendly and can communicate very well in English.
A lovely walk to the marina from the hotel, takes a good 25-30mins though. This is fine but with young children it can take double the time 🤣, so, we hired bikes. The reception staff sorted this for us. It was a great bike rental company.
Choice of three swimming pools but all are not heated. I’m a swimmer, after about 20 lengths I just got colder and colder. But fine for a cool down dip. My six and four year old did get in for a few minutes. They open late, 10am. I like to swim from 7.30/8am. So, if you’re after an early morning swim head for the sea.
We had a massive apartment, it was fantastic. All necessities for self catering. Our apartment was clean, however, day two the cleaners were at our door around 3pm on our return from a day out. So, we told them not to bother to clean our room so that we could go into it. They did leave us more loo roll and towels. So, our apartment wasn’t cleaned throughout our five night stay, but where our apartment was so spacious it felt clean and tidy anyhow.
Supermarket serves fresh rolls every morning and has a fair selection. Tasty fruit.
There needs to be more child friendly facilities, like a play park, but the Portuguese don’t seem to have them like we do in England.
Overall, it’s a basic hotel, but clean, pleasant and friendly staff.

After reading the reviews, it was what I expected. Studio in Oasis village was a twin bedded studio. No settee, so we brought patio chairs in to sit on. Sheets on the bed were annoying as they didn’t tuck in, too small! Clean enough but we won’t return

Tout était prêt quand je suis arrivé, le studio est au calme et avec assez d'espaces, Restaurant dans le site. Possibilité de navette et la mer n'est pas loin. J'ai été en studio mais il y a également des appartements pour un plus grand nombre de personnes.

Misleading advertising
Apartment clean enough, though there are 3 buildings & we were not in the building featured in the advertisement. Would not have picked the one we were allocated personally. Bugs in the bathroom and 2 cockroaches during our stay

Overall I like this place very clean
but
The toilet seat was small for the toilet the toilet leaked a tiny bit at the bottom
lots of school children in the same block meant the morning shower was cold on 2 mornings.

Must stay here!!!
Only place I’d stay in Vilamoura now. Reception staff especially Jorge and Jose are fantastic, as a regular visitor to Moursbel this is recognised and they looked after us with a free upgrade and late check out - much appreciated.
Another enjoyable stay and already looking forward to next one.

os apartamentos estão bem equipados, em termos de material não falta nada, o único apontamento negativo que tenho é em relação aos sofás cama que não são muito confortáveis. 1 quarto com duas camas, e dois sofás camas na sala, éramos 4 pessoas, e havia toalhas para todos, todos os dias as camas eram feitas. foi uma estadia positiva!

Another wonderful Holiday at Parque Mourabel. Thank you to all the staff. Reception staff courteous, helpful and cheerful. We had a small issue with our room - a weird knocking sound and Mr Cunha on reception 😀 got maintenance on to it immediately and sorted it. Many thanks. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable 😌 shuttle buses and drivers are excellent - location works for us. We walk into town - only 20 minutes. Shop on site caters for all our needs and staff friendly. I have booked to come back next November and am looking forward to it already. I highly recommend. A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the wonderful Staff and families- thanks again Mr Cunha and Best Wishes.
