Pestana Vila Sol Golf & Resort Hotel

Perfect if you want to enjoy peace and quiet. However, you'll need a rental car, which is easy to park at the hotel. Good service and friendly staff throughout the hotel! The view from the room was amazing. Furthermore, the hotel is clean with confortable beds. Large pool with plenty of loungers, also in the garden. If we are in Vilamoura again, we will definitely book this hotel again.

Fantastic place to stay, the rooms are spacious and was kept clean to a very good standard. We had a lovely terrace with table & chairs plus 2 sun beds. The best thing about this hotel is the restaurant. Breakfast was fabulous and so was dinner. Great service from staff with passion. Great location close to Vilamoura, 5 minutes drive from beach and marina. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is my 4th time at Pestana Vila Sol and we keep coming back as it is good value for money and the golf courses are really good. This time has been a bit of a nightmare however. We booked 2 Deluxe Twin Rooms, 1 with a walk in shower as one of our group is 70 years old and has a bad knee and struggles with the shower over bath. On arrival, we were given 2 rooms both shower over bath. We explained the situation and were given another room with a walk in shower. We were assured this was a deluxe room as well but it was one of the tired and older superior rooms. We thought no bother because we only sleep there so it will be ok. Last night we went to the harbour and came back at 2.15 am to find the bathroom was absolutely crawling with ant’s literally all over the counter tops , in our wash bags, all over the sinks and shower area. I rang reception and they said to come down and we could swap rooms. I said we need a walk in shower and he assured it had one. When we got there it had a shower over bath. We said we’d sleep there and sort it the morning. Next morning we went back to reception and they were just smiles, apologies and absolutely no help at all. He just kept saying there are no other rooms that are twin with walk in shower. There were 20-25 people down for breakfast this morning and we can clearly see there are loads of empty rooms they just didn’t want to help at all. We have noticed as well the service in the restaurant has gone downhill rapidly as you now have to get your own coffee or wait until you have eaten, we had to get our own cutlery and there was no one on the omelette station. The hot food is lukewarm and not great quality. This is clearly because they have very few staff working because they are not full!!! Bad experience so far and I dare say it will stay that way until we leave probably for good this time

Blissful and restful stay. We stayed in early April for 4 days on honeymoon. From check in we knew the hotel was comfortable elegant and spacious. Our room was very spacious clean and the balcony was a welcome addition for extra comfort. Breakfast buffet had a wide variety and everything was so fresh. We used the indoor amd outdoor polls daily including the jacuzzi. We had post dinner drinks in the bar each evening and the staff were so attentive amd welcoming. We look forward to a return stay. We walked to nearby cafes daily. Its 10mins by Taxi to Quateria so we had the best of beach and hotel
