First, the good stuff: Outstanding location (very close proximity to the nicest beach in St. Augustine), spotless, huge rooms and comfortable bedding and huge rooms. All these things were excellent, and honestly, above Hampton Inn's typical fare. However, there were issues. First, those huge rooms were populated with far too little furniture. One chair in a room this size simply disappears. Would it have killed you to put another chair and maybe ONE coffee table?! Really? And then there was the color of the rooms - jail cell gray is a lousy choice, even if you have boat load of it in your warehouse. Finally, can we talk about the SINGLE elevator in the building? Need I say more? To end on a positive note, the pool area and patio were wonderful! But, then again, breakfast was a disappointment, so...
