We were on a big road trip and had lots of driving. That made it difficult to know our exact arrival time and also we would mostly arrive late because we had a long stretch of drive in the evening.
One of the major reasons we booked Villa Princi was that it clearly stated 24h check-in and 24h front-desk. Sadly this is not true. It’s a B&B after all.
The same afternoon we realized we did not get any checkin information. Then it was very hard to reach anyway which caused some stress for us and thoughts of “What if we arrive and nobody is there? We can’t get it? Do we need to sleep in the car”?
We eventually reached Francesca and she was very nice. I give her the benefit of the doubt because she was traveling and coming back home the same day as us at midnight. So I am still giving a good review. But I suggest to update the 24h front desk accordingly.
Apart from this, the Villa is very nice and we are sad we couldn’t spend more time. Staff (and Francesca) ended up being very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good. And parking was very easy too. There are enough spots in the driveway.

Villa Princi is a beautyfull old house which has been renovated. Our room was clean and the bed was fine. The host was extremely helpful and picked us up at the harbour late in the evening. She even found a pizzaria where we could get a meal.

Exceptional location with a wonderful view of the strait. the owner has always been friendly and very helpful. The rooms are very clean, well-kept and equipped with every comfort. Abundant breakfast also with products made by them. Even though it is close to the centre, it is very calm and you sleep in absolute silence. Super recommended.

Of course this place is sumptuous, the view is magnificent from the balcony, the bed and bedding are impeccable but the quality of the welcome did not live up to our expectations. I need a fridge to store the insulin that I have to carry on the go but it didn't work. We were asked what time we wanted to have breakfast and half an hour after the appointed time it There was still no one there. We had to leave without eating... GRRRR! We didn't appreciate having a toilet in a corridor or not even having a mirror in the room. In addition, the place was difficult to find by taxi, which increased the price. In short, we would not recommend this accommodation to friends.

It is a beautiful villa, very close to the ferries, managed very well by a super helpful lady even though we arrived at the property very late. We took the suite, equipped with every comfort, the breakfast was also excellent. Good location.

This was a lovely hotel. In a quiet neighbourhood but still within walking distance of train station. The owner offered to pick us up and drop us off but we preferred to walk. The room was large with a beautiful view, comfortable bed and very good bathroom. Everything was clean. There was also a nicely landscaped garden and outdoor seating areas. Breakfast was freshly made and more than sufficient. I would happily return.
