El edificio es de ensueño con 300 años de historia. Un monumento convertido en hotel hace 20 años. Ya va necesitando renov****. Pasamos frío en la habitación. El radiador no funcionaba en el baño. Muy bien desayuno con calidad, aunque solo había una persona atendiendo y no daba abasto con tanto trabajo.

Wow what a beautiful place, spend a day or two in the area. Walk or the mountain and have a wonderful view of Santander. When you get back to the hotel have a 15 minute swim in the pool to recover and enjoy the beautiful building that the entire bottom floor is just for eating drinking and relaxing. Photos will explain.

Estuvimos dos noches alojados,en un principio nos dieron una habitación esquinera en el tercer piso con unas vistas increíbles pero era con dos camas de 90cm. Al ver la habitación fuimos a recepción a ver si nos la podían cambiar por una con una cama de matrimonio cosa que hicieron sin poner ninguna pega...lo único que ésta el colchón era un poco incómodo las almohadas parecían de papel y solamente dos y lo peor de todo la cortina que cubría todo el cabezal de la cama para que entrara luz tenías que vertelas y deseartelas ya no te digo si tenías algo cargando en el enchufe, el segundo día se olvidaron de reponer las amenitis, por lo demás el desayuno muy bueno aunque falto de personal...una sola camarera no puede estar reponiendo y atendiendo a los huéspedes que íbamos a desayunar...eso sí siempre con una sonrisa en la cara. La arquitectura del hotel y la decoración hay que verla por si sola ... simplemente espectacular... volveríamos

El precio que pague es americano pero el servicio que recibi es africano ,pague bebidas que no salieron a la mesa, la comida recalentada ya que los camareros te avisaban de que no tocases el plato que quemaba , un decepcion para un hotel cuatro estrellas que no se las merece, una experiencia para olvidar

Nos resulto decepcionante el hotel.
Es un edificio magnífico cuya decoracion interior es bastante hortera.
La primera habitación que nos dieron era absolutamente claustrofóbica y pedimos un cambio. Las dos muy pequeñas. Eso sí muy comoda la cama
El desayuno corriente y poco variado con solo una persona para atender, asi que aunque era muy atenta poco podía hacer.
Cubos con la fregona al lado del ascensor ( !) ,no les quedaban productos de acogida como cepillos de dientes, y aunque tiene un bonito jardín si como fuñe el caso tienen un evento, pues no se puede disfrutar. No merece la pena

Recomende a una amiga y compañera de trabajo majorera el Palacio de Soñanes , las cosas que me ha contado de las deficiencias de la instalacion y la falta de profesionalidad del personal me han herido porque me siento responsable de mi sugerencia. ¿Sin aire acondicionado en agosto? ¿Sugiriendoles usar las toallas de la ducha para el uso de la piscina? ¿Limitando el uso de los jardines a los huespedes? ¿Responsabilizarle de que no haya mando de la TV en la habitación? Conclusión de mi amiga: a este hotel le sobran dos estrellas.
