The castle is great, a rare experience, very cost-effective, not far from Salamanca, highly recommended!
Children need to add 25 euros per person, but the children love it here.
Please choose a higher room type. The cheapest room is downstairs in the outer building. We paid the difference on the spot and upgraded to the courtyard upstairs. The room is much better.
Dinner is also remarkable, with a special discount on the children's menu. Santeria is delicious, and you don't have to worry about not having delicious food here.
The lady at the front desk helped us a lot, and the other service staff were also very good.

La habitación superior medieval preciosa, fuimos con nuestros dos perros, tenían sus camitas preparadas, cacharritos de agua y chuches. La atención por parte de todo el personal, impresionante. El castillo es precioso, desayuno muy completo, cena en el restaurante lo mejor la carne. Gracias a todos, volvemos sin duda.

- El desayuno es manifiestamente mejorable - El Wifi es pésimo - Es imposible saber cómo llamar a recepción (hay que marcar el “9”, pero eso no lo dice ni en el teléfono, ni en la hoja de bienvenida, ni en ningún sitio) - Presión del agua en la ducha es intermitente (en un momento dado nos quedamos completamente sin agua) - Y lo peor de todo, cuando íbamos saliendo, había un autocar de una boda que impedía la salida del aparcamiento. En ese momento llegó una van DEL HOTEL (con los logotipos del establecimiento en los costados) que bloqueó la única otra vía de salida del aparcamiento. Y cuando yo le pedí que me dejara pasar, en vez de hacerlo, se puso a hacer aspavientos y ponerme malas caras. En este establecimiento evidentemente no le dicen al personal que “el cliente es el nº 1”, y que “el cliente siempre tiene la razón”. No volveremos.

Me llamó especialmente la atención el entorno natural. La abundancia de aves que incluso anidan en las construcciones del castillo, sobre todo gorriones y estorninos, todas ellas dan un ambiente de alegría al entorno. Fui en mayo y por la noche escuchaba el canto de un ruiseñor al lado de la habitación donde estaba. También se oían ranas que viven en una pequeña laguna que tienen acondicionada al lado del castillo
