Ibis Styles Vilnius

The hotel's reputation is greatly damaged when it accepts to organize a few trainings and does not clear the snowat the parking. People arrive in cars, groups in buses, and no one at hotel administration takes the initiative to address the question of why people have to damage their own vehicles. The hotel should have known from the evening weather forecast that it would snow heavily during the night, and in the morning a considerable number of guests arriving to the hotel by transport would be waiting.

Decided to stay here overnight because it was close to the airport (taxi fare is very reasonable in Vilnius) and also because I like this brand. Unfortunately, this particular Ibis Styles was very disappointing. First of all, it was very cold in the room (in the hallways as well). Seems that there's no heating or it's turned off despite +2 temperature outside. The aircon has a heating mode but it didn't warm the room even by a degree. Fortunately the bathroom had a towel heater. The room was very old and cramped, however the bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. The breakfast - too crowded (very small seating capacity). Food is lukewarm. And the most important thing: unfriendly staff. No smiles, no greeting. They did their job but didn't even try to look hospitable. I honestly regret choosing Ibis Styles over Novotel (the price for my dates was almost similar).

We stayed here for a visit to Vilnius and the Rammstein concert in May 2023, so we needed just a place to sleep for a few nights. The location is very convenient - situated a bit further away from the Old Town, but you can easily travel back and forth with your car or by ordering a taxi. There is also a produce store not too far. The room was clean, there were various sizes of towels, shampoo and shower gel (2in1), air conditioning, hair dryer. For breakfast there were various options available. The staff was friendly, too. Overall, I would stay here again.

We went for Christmas and enjoyed it again.. The Restaurant menu whist very good = excellent; is the same for at least 18 months; and needs changing. this time a difference room, which was cold! Staff as always are very helpful.
