Nice, quiet hotel. Nice bed and good breakfast.

Un très bon hôtel dans cette catégorie 3*. Large hall d’accueil moderne et chaleureux avec piano et resto abordable et varié. De jolies chambres propres et relativement spacieuses. Un accueil sympa. Facile d’accès. On entend un peu les portes et les couloirs mais clientèle très calme.

The stay could have been almost perfect. Indeed, the hotel is well located; a modern building (like the Ibis in Tallinn which is perfect, worth 4*) 15/20 mins walk from the old town. Spacious, modern room, apparently clean. Very clean bathroom. The breakfast is excellent, like the Tallinn Ibis, has a good variety of items and the breakfast staff are extremely helpful. However, some of the housekeeping service is clueless. Unfortunately in the early morning the fitted sheet had come off a little and I discovered several hairs on the mattress, under the fitted sheet: it's always disgusting to see such a thing even more so when you wake up. Then, now being a little more curious I found others on the mattress; which was very stained, several stains including a huge one which looked like blood? It was really DISGUSTING... Yuck...!! The day before, a cleaning lady came to ask you in the hallway if you wanted her to do cleaning service in your room. Why such a question? If I didn't want to, I took an AirBNB? Or I would put the sign behind the door, asking for 100 ALL Points in exchange for not cleaning. I hadn't put anything on; so why ask me? I told her that yes, I wanted to, and then she looked at me with disappointed eyes and sighed a little, to show her displeasure. I am aware that the job of housekeepers is extremely difficult, but why ask the customer such a question? Several times, some cleaning ladies went before me in the elevator because they were going to a different floor than me, so they took priority over the customer, this surprised me too. At the end of the stay, I had another incident, a cleaning lady had thrown my bag in the trash; having thought it was a disposable bag. I was clumsy enough to put several used tissues inside, among other things. I admit that I was extremely clumsy, so I can't really hold it against them. This is to say that the two lady chefs responsible for the reception were extremely professional, as I have rarely seen, and kept their cool. In two hours they investigated and found my bag. So how to rate the hotel? Following the disgusting mattress I wanted to give it 1/5 and if I hadn't discovered it I would have given it 5/5. I just hope that this review will be a shock to the hotel to better check the cleanliness of the room and correct the somewhat "I don't care" attitude of some cleaning ladies (not all are the same).
