Hotel Diego de Almagro Viña del Mar

Hotel location was not bad as it is near to many eating places. Amenities are poor as they only provide 1 small bar of soap for handwashing. Nothing was provided for bathing except for a smalltube of shampoo for bathing. Not even a box of tissue and no drinking water. How much can they save going to such lengths of austerity? Worn out towels.

The hotel is OK, but rooms looks like where build on the cheap. Parking is also realy limited.

This was our second hotel in Vina del Mar so it was a different environment, close to the city center and the river. We checked in around 1:00PM and the staff was friendly and although we were early, they had a room ready for us. The room was a decent size, clean and had a view of the view and city. The bed was comfortable and the shower had a good stream and was hot. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety which was filling. There are a lot of decent restaurants in the area which we enjoyed. All in all it was a very positive experience and good value for money.

Nice stay, Top floor with nice river view. Breakfast excellent. Pool cold but pleasant although no chairs or umbrellas - not sure if it was actually open, but went for a dip anyway. Great location. TV selection was lousy - only about 5 of the 30 channels worked. Room clean and comfortable.

The staff was very nice, the breakfast buffet was very good, and it was a good location.

Room was ok. Staff ok too. The Cafeteria hours too short

Great area The hotel was great and we had east walking access to restaurants, shopping and beach. We were a little disappointed that the gym was extremely limited and the rooftop in the pictures is only open once per year according to the front desk. The people were very friendly.
