Holiday Inn Express & Suites VA Beach Oceanfront

Right front of the beach. You open the door of the lobby then you are at the beach. Every room has ocean view and it's the best thing to recommend.

This is the nastiest hotel I ever walked into. Front Desk staff is rude and unprofessional. General Manager is even more rude. Place is dirty. Nothing was done about it. Breakfast food cold and floating in water. Again no compensation provided just shrugged their shoulders.

we were pleasantly surprised with how nice the accommodations were for our weekend getaway. We've stayed in several different VA beach ocean front hotels and all have been less than impressive. The cleanliness and updates here were top notch.

We were very happy with our stay.

The pool was way smaller than expected. The breakfast was pretty decent but you may have to wait in line for it. The bed wasn’t really comfortable and I woke up with my neck hurting and the air conditioning was difficult to get to a pleasant degree. The toilet didn’t really work properly but it still was a pretty decent hotel. They didn’t allow late check out and didn’t any extra towels and wash cloths but apparently it was a employee issue on why they couldn’t

After a day out, I arrived back to the hotel around 11 pm. There were no parking spaces available in the lot. There were also a few cars in the lot that did not have guest tags. When I went to the desk to inquire, I was told I had to go about two blocks away to a lot to park my car and walk back. I am a woman, ‘of a certain age’ and was traveling solo. I expressed that I was not comfortable doing that. I also shared that there appeared to be non-guests taking up some spots. The man at the desk simply repeated that I should go park in the other lot and walk back. In regards to the alleged non-guests, he just said “I guess we’ll have to check that out”. When I again said that I was not comfortable walking alone down a dark street at that hour, he just told me again that I had to go to the other lot. Thankfully, a young lady behind the desk heard our conversation and volunteered to go to the lot and walk back with me. I think that asking an older, female, solo traveler to walk down a dark street at 11pm by herself is unacceptable. I paid enough for my stay to expect that I would have a parking space in the lot.

Went for a birthday celebration an last minute booked this hotel. Much to our suprise it was close to alot of places to eat an within walking distance. Loved how it was right on the beach. Nothing is like waking up to the sunrise on the beach!!!

The room was clean. Their breakfast was wonderful ( at least for my husband, hopefully they will start having Gluten Free items) the staff was so friendly and professional. The hotel had a wonderful location. Really enjoyed our stay. The amenities were wonderful as well.
