window had previous persons lip and face marks where they pressed face against window probably children. musty smell plus 2 chairs outside with red stain that looked initially like blood and on wall. I figured probably a red drink though. Electric not hotels fault went out for hour or 2 second day. hotel is not on beach it's across street from other hotels. parking spots are tight. Virginia Beach itself is amazing.

The hotel looked very run down. It could really use an overhaul. The photos of the hotel were very deceiving.
I lost my room key and asked for another one. The front desk person gave me a key without verifying I was person in that room. I felt as if I could have walked in off the street and gained access to any room. It felt unsafe.
On the bright side, the staff was friendly. I appreciated that.
Unfortunately, I won’t be returning although the beach is directly across the street.
