Nevada City Hotel

This is by far the worst hotel for customer service. The girl named Janelle that checked us in was an absolute b!tch. She was unbelievably rude and condescending. I will bad mouth this hotel on every platform I can find. They cancelled my reservation for no reason and blamed it on *******. The manager did absolutely nothing to make the situation right and up charged us $70. We had to stay because I had booked 3 rooms total and could not leave my friends. Truly one of the worst experiences I have had to deal with. We have traveled the world and never experienced anything like this before. We will go back to staying at the Gray Wild Lodge which is lovely. The rooms were ok. Nothing great to be honest. The beds we’re comfortable and the bathroom counter top was nice. No bathroom in the lobby which was desperately needed after spending 45 minutes trying to get into our room.

Darling cabin. Very clean with friendly staff. No TV, but the view was spectacular. Would definitely recommend!!

We found this property on the same day as we were traveling home from a long 3 Natl Park road trip. The property is in a BEAUTIFULLY restored historic western town. The checkin/checkout process at the main hotel in town ( think restored western cowboy main st ) was super simple & the lady who checked us in was wonderfully pleasant & super helpful. The cabins are grouped together a short drive away & we were so pleased with the cabin we had. VERY clean, Cozy, Quite & we felt very Safe there. We would HIGHLY recommend this property !

Authentic outside and very nice inside. Resturant was excellent. This location is Nevada city not Virginia city. Check-in was in Virginia City at the fair weather hotel.

We loved our stay in Cabin # 5. It was so comfortable with 2 queen beds, window A/C, mini fridge and WI-FI. It was directly behind the old Nevada Hotel, and facing the 2 story outhouse attached to the back of the old hotel. Our cabin had sod roof and rocking chairs outside to enjoy the quiet of the evening. We were touring Ghost towns and loved staying in an authentic restored miners cabin from the booming mining days of the past. There was no TV and we knew that beforehand, so we had books and downloaded movies as we weren’t expecting Wi-Fi. There is a maintenance person who stays in one of the cabins in case of problems. Check in is at Fairweather Inn in Virginia City, only a mile down the road. Sofia checked us in and she was a delight, so friendly, fun and helpful, even dressed in period dress. Sheri at check out was also fantastic. If you are looking to get away from the hustle bustle of the city, take a trip to Virginia City-Nevada City Mt and stay in a cabin relax and explore the past.

Rustic, quiet and clean. Awesome place for a getaway! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Great place to visit and things to see. It takes you back to the Western Days and you see how they lived and what they did back then without the modern conveniences we have now. We will be returning again.

These cabins were great. Clean and comfortable. 120 plus year old cabin with up to date comforts. Fan in room for cooling in summer. Clean toilet, sink and shower in your cabin. Nice beds and furniture. The restaurant up front was great too.

I was surprisingly pleased with the unit. The beds were comfortable and a very homey atmosphere. Loved the furnishings. At first concerned about no TV but, I settled and slept amazingly well with out my back ground noise.
