Lamp Liter Inn

This place was clean. The garden area very nice we loved the ground and our front door and patio area . The rooms really need some updating although our beds slept nice . The Rooms could be updated The heating and air were combined with just one switch. We couldn’t adjust temp to our comfort . Friendly staff

Gives me a home vibe

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! The worst experience I had on a two week motorcycle trip. To start with the check in process was horrible, I suspect the last minute rate we paid required the manager to select our rooms due to the low rate. The room selected was an adjoined room room with a door so flimsy that I could hear every word from the family next door fighting with their kids. Went to the front office to change rooms and had to go through the laborious process again. No ac, bugs in room, shower head plugged had to remove. DON’T STAY.

While the Lamp Liter is quite “vintage” it’s nice and clean. The staff is delightful. Check in was seamless. I had a lower floor room with a parking access door and a second door to the courtyard. There is a nice pool, I was there in January so didn’t swim. The courtyard is home to some stray cats….. and they make insane noises at night! While I was quite alarmed at first I found it kinda humorous.

The ******* info says restaurant and limited room service. The restaurant is closed and boarded up and there is no room service. It says housekeeping daily. They only did housekeeping every 3 days. I requested that they at least bring in towels daily and it did not happen. There were only 2 tiny trash cans in the room so the food trash was pretty gross after 3 days and the dumpsters were locked so we could not take it ourselves. I feel that due to all the misinformation a partial refund should be issued.

Unfortunately, it took about 10 minutes for anyone to come to the font desk to check us in and it wasn't even 8:30 p.m. yet. The channel on the tv could not be changed in our room. My son spotted cockroaches in the room and he woke up with a big bite on his neck from some sort of insect. This is the fourth time my daughter has stayed at the establishment and unfortunately we will not be coming back after this stay.

The guy at counter was super nice but entered room overwhelmingly met by smell of cat urine and all my stuff now smells like that

easy to get to with all expected facilities.
