We had such an amazing experience staying at Hotell Slottsbacken. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room, although a little cosy, had all the amenities and the bed was very comfortable. We had a view of the sea behind the trees. Everything was clean. The breakfast was amazing with vegan and gluten-free options available. We would love to return again in the future and definitely recommend it to others looking for a hotel in Visby!

Bra och prisvärt. Saknade dock ett ”vardagsrum” att vara i mellan att vi kom hem på kvällen och läggdags. Någon form av lobby eller samlingsrum

Nice and cosy small hotel, well situated ,short distance to everything in the old town.
Unfortunately daily maintenance seems to be neglected -in our room safe did not work, hand shower also broken and some spotlights in the roof.
No aircond in the room so can be pretty warm during summertime.

Bra frukost, bra läge och fint rum!
Parkeringen kostade 110:- per dag och de hade bara 4, men annars kunde man stå på gatan utanför om det inte var fullt.
Ganska lyhört rum, hörde om någon gick i korridorerna och ingen AC på rummet utan bara en fläkt, var inte så jättevarmt när vi var där som tur var men kan tänka mig att det blir jobbigt om det är 30 grader ute.
Annars trevlig personal och en toppen-vistelse!

Booked the room becuse they advertised WiFi and Caboe TV and we really needed both . WiFI was horrible and cable TV didn’t even exist. Blaming myself for not checking reviews better beforehand because then I would have seen that already in 2021and 2022 hotel got bad reviews for just WiFi and cable . The girls that worked in the front desk was absolutely amazing and very sweet and helpful and helped us solve our issues the best they could being very creative. Cable TV doesn’t exist there even though they advertise it and WiFi seams to be a problem owners have no intention to solve . The hotel

Very nice, slightly rustic feel. Incredibly friendly staff. Delightful five minute stroll to the center of Visby. Highly recommend!
