Hotel Heimatlodge

The hotel is near a train station called St Niklaus VS, about 3 minutes' walk away. This station is about 45 minutes away from Zermatt by train. It's actually a B&B, so checking in is a bit troublesome. The door is black and you can push it in without locking it. At 8 o'clock in the evening, there was no service staff and I asked for self-service check-in. I tried Ctrip's reservation number and the hotel's confirmation number, but couldn't check in. There was a number (see Figure 2) that I could call, but because I didn't buy a local phone bill service, I couldn't check in. I didn't know what to do for a while. The owner and guests of the hotel opposite were very helpful. One guest directly called us to help us, and then helped us get the key and find the room. Thank you very much! The hotel provides body lotion. The freshly made coffee for breakfast is great. The other food is very simple. There are fewer types of bread and meat but it is enough.

This is a hotel next to Niglou Station. It only takes 3 minutes to get off the bus and walk there. The people here are really friendly. As soon as we got off the train, a bus driver stopped and told us the direction to the hotel. Since we returned very late, the self-service check-in was not smooth. The bartender opposite the hotel and the customers inside enthusiastically helped us find a solution. Gave us a lot of warmth. The windows in this house are so large that they can all be opened. Extremely quiet and the perfect choice. Breakfast was also very good. This place is only three stops away from Zermatt, and the ride takes about half an hour. We will be back again.

Wir haben die Unterkunft vom 30.12.23-01.01.24 gebucht und waren schwer entäuscht! Bei der Ankunft gelangten wir nicht in das Hotel, da die Aussentüre verschlossen war. Unsere Zimmerkarte befand sich jedoch im Eingangsbereich des Hotels (wurde dort mittels Code hinterlegt), wir mussten somit zuerst ins Hotel gelangen. Nachdem wir die Unterkunft telefonisch erreicht hatten, dauerte es ganze 20 Minuten, bis zufälligerweise andere Gäste kamen,die mit ihrer Karte die Türe öffnen konnten. Wir hatten das Hotel inklusive Frühstück gebucht gehabt. Nach der ganzen Aufregung konnten wir nun endlich aufs Zimmer. Das Zimmer war schön und wir dachten, damit seien die Umtriebe erledigt! Falsch gedacht!! Als wir am nächsten Morgen um 7.30 Uhr Frühstücken gehen wollten,war kein Mensch da und nichts gerichtet. Das Frühstück wurde gemäss Hotel ab 7.00Uhr angeboten. Wir waren nicht die einzigen Gäste, es gab noch solche, die früher da waren und auf Personal warteten. Erst weitere 30 Minuten später ist eine angestellte erschienen... Ich bin vom Service masslos entäuscht - so etwas habe ich bisher noch nie erlebt - und ich würde diese Unterkunft auf keinen Fall weiterempfehlen! Eine kleine Entschädigung haben wir bis heute nicht erhalten, obwohl uns diese vom Hotel schriftlich zugesichert wurde! Alles in allem - höchst unprofessionell!
