I was competing in Ironman and the normal late opening of most restaurants isn’t ideal for that so self catering and the sushi restaurant was just what we needed

The room has a bathroom that is more modern and light, the shower plate is quite large. Booked the hotel very last minute as part of our whistle stop tour looking for property. On arrival we were greeted by a very courteous receptionist and quickly checked in. We had used the outside parking accessed by a barrier with intercom to reception. We had booked a junior suite as a treat and for around €80 it was the bargain of our 9 night trip in 8 different hotels! The room was immaculate and very comfortable. The beds had memory foam mattress toppers, such a bonus when every other hotel in Spain think guests prefer to sleep on boards...or in France 80cm wide singles! The carpet in the corridor was a little stained but once in the room it was very clean. The covid precautions were very good and I felt very comfortable. Our only minor issue was getting out of the parking. We called reception to lift the barrier but we got no response and after a few minutes called the office block reception who I think let us out! We will definitely stay in this hotel on our next trip or in the future.

A minimalist, cosy, wide and comfortable bed, a bathroom with a simple shower but you don't need more, to go to sleep only phenomenal. The bad thing we found is that they had no bottles of water to sell, but they told us the washing water was drunk.

i found this hostel to be a brilliant place to stay and wouldn't change a thing. i stayed for 2 nights in august. firstly, the woman on reception was LOVELY and very helpful answering any questions and so nice just to chat to. the location was perfect, in the old town so many great bars with great atmosphere very close and not far walking to the main plaza. i recommend la gilderia 3mins away for a vermouth and delicious pintxos. as long as you don't expect any fancy touches (bring your own toothpaste / soap / towel, no breakfast (but a fully functioning kitchen) then this will work great for you and for the price (23 euros) it was very good value. i actually had a whole dormitory to myself plus a clean bathroom with a good shower, and locker for safe keeping. very much recommended
