Hotel Thermen Bussloo - Apeldoorn

My girlfriend and I visited you last Friday and Saturday for at least the 10th time. Once again it was super nice and everything was well taken care of. A friendly welcome at the hotel where you will receive the wristband for your locker at the sauna where your bath towel and bathrobe are ready. On the 2nd day you will receive a clean bathrobe and there is the option to purchase a service pass so that you can exchange your bath towel even on the day in the sauna. The service in the restaurant is great, friendly and helpful, the food is varied and super tasty. When the weather is nice you can also eat outside on the terrace. Many different saunas with different temperatures. Various infusions and other rituals such as singing bowls in the Kelo sauna and a singing bowl meditation in the yurt. Lovely garden with beds. Excellent hotel room, minibar available. Spacious bathroom with lovely smelling soaps, rain shower. The toilet is separate. Kettle and coffee maker available and a lovely bed. In short, highly recommended.

The occasion was that I turned 60 at the end of last year and my wife surprised me with a sauna day including lunch and dinner a la carte. We hadn't been there for a while and we had a great day together. Where we spent €160 a few years ago, it was now €240. If you pay €5.50 for a cup of tea (note that this is boiled water) and €12 for a dessert and you really get a very small piece, then I'm a bit lost. And of course I know that prices have gone up, but this is quite extreme. The service in the restaurant was top notch, unfortunately I don't know her name, but this lady really enjoyed her work. Not once did I manage to offer my wristband before she had already asked. 😂

Hotel and wellness was a great experience. Everyone was very friendly. Hotel rooms were large and very clean. Everything was there. Breakfast was also extensive, well prepared and very tasty. The sauna complex and the various rituals were great. Definitely worth another visit!

Celebrated my friend's birthday at Thermen Bussloo in January 2024. It was amazing. From the warm welcome at reception to saying goodbye the next day. Enjoyed the salt water pool in the Cenote, dream trip in the yurt, sauna theater, element sauna. Dinner and breakfast buffet were also delicious and the service was excellent. Hotel room with beautiful views over the lake, luxurious bathroom and wonderful bed. A big 10 from us for Thermen Bussloo.

My partner and I have spent three days at Thermen Bussloo and two nights in a hotel and they have been wonderful days. Total disconnection and absolute relaxation. Both the hotel and the spa are of excellent quality, all the details and cleanliness. The hotel and spa staff are friendly and helpful people. I want to make a special mention of Ellen, who gave us a relaxing massage and it is impossible to find a more professional, pleasant and friendly person than her. We returned yesterday from Thermen Bussloo and we already look forward to returning again. We will definitely repeat, thank you very much for the trea**ent received and the wonderful experience.

We spent 2 days and one night at the hotel in the beautiful thermal baths as part of the spring special. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. It wasn't particularly busy, despite the Dutch sauna championships. We were lucky to be there on that weekend and to experience the sauna masters' skills first-hand. We were even able to take part in one of the championship's infusions for a small extra charge. Really great! The staff were friendly throughout. The entire complex is very well-kept and clean, as are the hotel rooms. We actually had a meal at the Hotel Intens, but opted for the buffet in the sauna so we could eat in our bathrobes. The food was OK, and breakfast the next morning was also OK. There is always something for everyone. We can only mention two small negative points, which in our opinion are not enough to deduct a point. We had to carry our things around in plastic bags - I don't understand the point, apart from that it is absolutely not sustainable and completely unnecessary. Something urgently needs to be changed here. Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the complex, there is only one designated area where if there are more than 5 people you feel like you are in a smoking room at the airport. I think here too they could be a bit more tolerant and at least in the summer smokers could be given the opportunity to smoke in other places outside. There is nothing wrong with designating these places separately. Otherwise we really felt very comfortable and had a great weekend from start to finish. We would love to come back!

We have been coming to Thermen Bussloo regularly for over 10 years. Often a weekend, sometimes a day. In the first years the food in the sauna and the hotel was great, but over the years the quality, especially of the food in the sauna, has deteriorated considerably. During our last visit it was even far below par, especially for the price you pay for it. The dinner buffet in particular was very disappointing. It is not only our opinion, but other regular visitors to Thermen Bussloo also share our opinion about this. IT'S SUCH A SIN!! The hotel is fantastic, as is the food in the hotel restaurant, the saunas and infusions are delicious BUT WHAT IS LEFT OF YOUR FESTIVE RELAXING WEEKEND IF THE FOOD IS EXPENSIVE AND NOT GOOD! Eating outside the sauna is not an option, and you are not allowed to bring your own food. It hurts our hearts. Will this be the end of our favorite outing??
