The room was comfortable and close to shops and tourist attractions. It was within walking distance, but the check-out was very slow and I wasn't impressed.

Before checking in, there was no information about how to check in, and no one contacted me on WhatsApp. The apartment complex has three entrances, and after arriving at the ground floor and going to the lobby, I found that the front desk wasn't for check-in; I had to contact the landlord myself. They didn't reply to my messages until I called, and they didn't speak English, though I could communicate in English via typing. The check-in process was fine until I entered the room and saw the shower filter was filthy from long use… I couldn't take it anymore and asked the landlord if I could replace it, even sending her pictures. Just because I didn't pronounce the word correctly, they started explaining what it was 😅 Does that matter? I use one at home myself, of course I know! They didn't just say whether they could replace it or not. Finally, I gave them a way out, saying if they didn't have any in stock, I wouldn't need to replace it, forget it. They just read my message and didn't reply. The toilet started smelling bad the night I moved in, and by the next day, even I, who's not a germaphobe, felt nauseous. The room and its facilities were quite clean and complete, except for the details that didn't hold up to close scrutiny—there was an army of ants on the floor. The most annoying thing is communicating with the landlord. Having stayed in Vietnam so many times, this is the first time I've encountered a landlord like this. 🫠
