The Sim Hotel Vung Tau

The hotel felt newly renovated: a clean, odor-free room, a spacious closet, and a comfortable bed. There was a good-sized mini-fridge and excellent Wi-Fi. The staff was professional, and the hotel was consistently clean. Everything was great, and we appreciate the hospitality and early check-in. The only minor inconvenience for us was the shower layout with the drain incorrectly positioned (we were worried about flooding the room).

I booked a superior queen room with two large windows, but was given a room with only one small window. I repeatedly asked the reception staff using a translation app and verbally, and they explained, "This room is a standard room, not a superior queen room, and it's fully booked and you can't change rooms." I reported the incident to trip.com, which then contacted the hotel, who replied that the room I was staying in matched the room I reserved. The reception staff repeatedly told me it was a standard room, not a superior queen room, but I gave a different explanation to trip.com customer support. The reception staff ultimately told me, "It's difficult to explain things using a translation app." Yes, I understand that it's difficult. So I asked multiple times to make sure there were no misunderstandings, but communication was difficult. The security staff helped me with my luggage, but they kept trying to take my Boston bag, which I had told them I would carry myself, which was unpleasant. The room was terrible. The refrigerator didn't work. There was a live spider on the towel. There was what looked like an insect leg on the bed. There was a broken hanger left in the closet. There was hair stuck to the walls which was disgusting. When other rooms turned on their air conditioners, it was very loud; it was so loud all night long it felt like I was sleeping on an airplane. There was music playing in the hallway which could be heard into our room. We could also hear conversations at reception into our room. There was a sensor installed at the entrance to the car park which sounds whenever someone passes by. Every time someone passes, it sounds and can be heard inside the room. The WiFi password was not in the room so I had to go to reception to ask.

The room is very ok, the receptionist is cute and enthusiastic, the hotel also supports early check-in, very recommended everyone to experience it
