This is my second stay at Sliezky Dom, an excellent location for all types of winter sport. The hospitality of the staff from the kitchen to waiters were exemplary.

Lack of parking
You are not allowed to park at the hotel and must park in a parking lot about 7 km down the mountain. This affectively limits your ability to go into the small towns and are forced to have the evening meal at the hotel at €25 each person the meal was not worth €25.

What a location!
The drive up was exciting but what you see when you arrive is jaw dropping beautiful! We had no idea it would be this amazing in person! Check in was quick and easy, and staff were all very welcoming. We had a corner view facing the mountains and lake and couldn’t stop staring! The hiking is wonderful and if we had been better prepared for the cold would have done a proper hike. Dinner and breakfast were small but wonderful, ample offerings of tasty food. We loved the 1 hour of wellness included with our room (spa view is amazing). The only thing is check with hotel about leaving window open at night as we tried with ours, but the wind was so intense it shook our whole room so we opted to only crack it open. Highly recommended!

Beautifully located accommodation in the mountains. It is a cross between a mountain hut and a hotel (but the prices are also quite high). The road up was closed for us, so we had to be picked up by the hotel bus. The food was of moderate quality.

The location of the hotel is certainly magical. Maybe (I mean maybe) this is enough to ensure sufficient filling. Step 1: the shuttle if you leave your car in the parking lot. One per hour. It doesn't seem like much when the site suggests that it's a phone call. Step 2: Home. Pretty good overall. Except for one point. The majority of customers are there for the summit. They leave between 5 and 6 a.m. Impossible to get a box with some food for breakfast. Personally I find it scandalous!!! Step 3: the obligatory evening buffet (despite the presence of a menu on the site). If you're hungry it's good value for money. But only if not very hungry Step 4: At night. Little sleep (even though the next day I had a mountaineering race) because of the noises. We were on the first floor... above the restaurant. And only that? Difficult to determine the origin of the noise, except that it's not the neighbors... The next day, the same for the shuttle, forced to wait 39 minutes. To summarize, when I'm in a shelter at 35€ per night OK. At €175, I expect much better.

En randonnée itinérante de 11 jours, j'ai passé une nuit qui s'est avérée être des plus désagréables à Sliezsky Dom. Tout semblait pourtant parfait : accueil, propreté, qualité de la literie et de la cuisine. Cependant, un groupe de jeunes faisant partie du staff de l'hôtel a choisi de faire une fête dans les escaliers de service qui conduisent aussi au dortoirs pour les randonneurs jusqu'à au moins 3h du matin. Ils ont tour juste baissé la musique lorsque je suis allée leur demander de se calmer par respect pour les clients... bref, pas fermé l'œil de la nuit ... pas top pour la randonnée du lendemain !!!

Un magnifico hotel en plena montana. Habitacion muy agradable, excelente desayuno.
Personal un poco distante.
Cuidado con el acceso al hotel si tienes coche ya que es imposible aparcar y se debe dejar el vehiculo en el valle y coger un transporte del hotel pero el procedimiento es folklorico
