Comfortable beds, nice setting and grounds. Great Staff. Great coffee. Excellent to be able to borrow beach towels, umbrella & chairs. Minimal, but nice breakfast. Roosters are an early-morning nuisance here, as they are everywhere! Older motel, but really well kept and clean. Not cheap, but reasonable compared to others.

We stayed here at the last minute after a snafu with another reservation. The place and staff were great - definitely a relaxed vibe to the check-in/check-out process. There were some oddities: a king size bed but only 1 chair and 1 bedside table, the key to the room took some effort to get in and turn the knob. A bit expensive based on state-side rates, but, all-in-all, generally a good motel.

Kauai Inn brought me back to my childhood. It definitely has that vintage feel. Only thing that was an issue was the thinness of the walls. You can hear everything going on upstairs and outside of your door. Other than that it’s a great place if you are looking for something affordable, clean, and great customer service
